We have experienced this spreading of an illness through the family so many times. When one of us gets sick, all of us do at the same time. Thank you for this wonderful tea remedy recipe. It's so horrible to be sick like that together with your family. No one can take care of each other. Home remedies are the best. It's great to hear that you and your husband are feeling better now.

Our mothers were sisters and they grew up in Mesilla Park NM so all your recipes remind me of my mom’s cooking. The family moved California but we would visit Mesilla often. I’m 70 years old now and I started binge-watching your channel, you’re just like family to me. I was in El Paso with my kids who are at Fort Bliss. I was there from thanksgiving to First of January. I go sick about middle of December and was in bed for a week. But I did get to discover Hatch chilies. Back in Missouri I buy Aneheims

I'm sorry to say I didn't catch then nor have I gotten back that far in my searches but thank you for sharing them again. So sorry that you caught that bug. Loved the drop! Just wanted to share that I remember my mom, on an open mesquite fire, biting the tip of those green chiles off so they wouldn't blow up while she roasted them on a homemade grill. While she was roasting chile she would foil wrap potatoes and nestle them in the coals. She usually had a couple of "gunny sacks" of chile to roast. Oh the aroma of all that come right back to mind just thinking about it. All of the videos you share seem to spark a memory of growing up and my parents ways of of obtaining and cooking foods. They were both American born, Dad from Hotsprings NM and Mom from Thermal CA but there ties were to La Colonia Terrazas near Delicias Chih, MX. Your post both rekindle those dishes while growing up and an interest to the Fabulous New Mexico style of preparing anything and everything. I thoroughly enjoy your channel and I have shared it with my children and sister. Keep up the good work. Can't get enough. Wishing you both well!

I just recently found your channel and I love it. Your recipes are so well presented and clear. It doesn't cool off here in San Antonio until October. I am lining up recipes now. The tea recipe will be in frequent use. When I lived in Albuquerque I worked in a lsrge hospital for a while. That winter a particulatly nasty flu made many staff sick. The cafeteria served green chile stew every day. It was good and spicy. I ate that chile every day. I was one of the few who did not become ill with a flu virus. Inhospitable environment with so much hot chile!😊 Capsaicin is good for the immune system.

All though I'm not able to make most of your recipes due to food allergies I still watch with pure torcher. 😅 I love your recipes and know they are wonderful because they have cheese and corn or corn ingredients in them which I can no longer eat. 😢 But I still enjoy watching.

I found your channel just a few months ago. I enjoy your recipes. I’ll make the sweet potatoes for sure. Do they freeze well? My husband doesn’t like sweet potatoes or beans. Crazy, I know! The sandwich looks good, too, except I don’t really eat pico de gallo because of the cilantro. Perhaps I could make it without the Irish Spring. LOL Glad y’all are feeling better. Happy New Year! ❤️
I've never frozen them before, so I'm not sure I'd recommend it. They do keep in the refrigerator for a week. We just tend to gobble them up right away. Lol Thanks for the well wishes. Happy New Year, to you, as well.

I started making this sandwich about 30 years ago but used garlic bread as the rolls and my sons loved it.. When at home it is still most requested... Great Recipe!!!

I was in El Paso with my kids who are at Fort Bliss. I was there from thanksgiving to First of January. I go sick about middle of December and was in bed for a week. But I did get to discover Hatch chilies. Back in Missouri I buy Aneheims

I'm sorry to say I didn't catch then nor have I gotten back that far in my searches but thank you for sharing them again. So sorry that you caught that bug. Loved the drop! Just wanted to share that I remember my mom, on an open mesquite fire, biting the tip of those green chiles off so they wouldn't blow up while she roasted them on a homemade grill. While she was roasting chile she would foil wrap potatoes and nestle them in the coals. She usually had a couple of "gunny sacks" of chile to roast. Oh the aroma of all that come right back to mind just thinking about it. All of the videos you share seem to spark a memory of growing up and my parents ways of of obtaining and cooking foods. They were both American born, Dad from Hotsprings NM and Mom from Thermal CA but there ties were to La Colonia Terrazas near Delicias Chih, MX. Your post both rekindle those dishes while growing up and an interest to the Fabulous New Mexico style of preparing anything and everything. I thoroughly enjoy your channel and I have shared it with my children and sister. Keep up the good work. Can't get enough. Wishing you both well!

I just recently found your channel and I love it. Your recipes are so well presented and clear. It doesn't cool off here in San Antonio until October. I am lining up recipes now. The tea recipe will be in frequent use. When I lived in Albuquerque I worked in a lsrge hospital for a while. That winter a particulatly nasty flu made many staff sick. The cafeteria served green chile stew every day. It was good and spicy. I ate that chile every day. I was one of the few who did not become ill with a flu virus. Inhospitable environment with so much hot chile!😊 Capsaicin is good for the immune system.

I found your channel just a few months ago. I enjoy your recipes. I’ll make the sweet potatoes for sure. Do they freeze well? My husband doesn’t like sweet potatoes or beans. Crazy, I know! The sandwich looks good, too, except I don’t really eat pico de gallo because of the cilantro. Perhaps I could make it without the Irish Spring. LOL Glad y’all are feeling better. Happy New Year! ❤️
I've never frozen them before, so I'm not sure I'd recommend it. They do keep in the refrigerator for a week. We just tend to gobble them up right away. Lol Thanks for the well wishes. Happy New Year, to you, as well.
