WOW! The Massive 2500sq ft Suite at the Peninsula Hotel, New York City

- As most of you know by now, we sold our apartment in NY and put our stuff in storage. As we're travleing most of the time, it made sense for now, but we still need to be in NY each month, so luckily the Peninsula Hotel reached out after I dj'd an event there a couple months back. We we're so excited to check it out but had no idea what we were in for! Impressed is a complete understatement. The 'room' was next level amazing, and that was after we passed all the amazing art on the way there. Def intely won't be our last time there, that's for sure!

Stayed here a few years back - it’s much more updated now, it’s a nice hotel plenty of amenities- def happy to be home though!

And right across the street the equally impressive St. Regis Hotel. Maybe they will comp you a room. Stayed there for a couple nites in the executive suite. The place was so big and the ceilings so high I wanted to clear out the furniture and play some hoops in the room.

Brendan Fallis Let me clarify. Probably a good 15 years ago. Wanna say 14 foot ceilings in the suite I stayed. Maybe they have reconfigured the rooms since then dunno.Ginormous rooms,

The Presidential Suite at the St. Regis New York across the street is $35,000/night. Their Royal Suite and Imperial Suites are $18,800/night and Milano, Dior, Tiffany, Bentley are $10,500/night. I used to stay at the Peninsula but switched to St. Regis after I found out I could earn lots of points in their loyalty program due to spending so much which can be transferred to various airline frequent flyer programs for free first/business class tickets.

I stayed here during a build of our home upstate- the timing just lined up right. 😊 home is better. I truly felt like I was at a business all day. Bu- t I do miss the tin cashews 😂 Clements has delish Sorbet!
The question is: spend a week there or buy a 7 series Beamer (that you can keep for years). Hahaha. Then again for 20k per night I would expect all of that then some. I don't want to be crude but I think you can imagine what the "then some" really is.

Not gonna lie, that mini bar and snacks kind of had me do a double-take. When you got $$$ like that to be staying in a place like that, I thought the snack game would be upped immensely... fresh juices, "healthier" snack items and just overall less junk like pop, red bull, oreos, etc.
Anywho... me being nosy and having only recently found your channel from watching your apartment reno and then seeing that you had sold in another vlog, for some reason I thought you were travelling the world. Or was it just that you wanted the freedom to go wherever without having to worry about taking care of a home base. Not that you have to answer this but I'd be curious to know. Thx!
edit: should've watched the whole vid. The fruit plate looked pretty amazing and then I saw the juice in the fridge! Also, the telescope is creeptastic. Is there really a need for that. LOL.
I also get creeped out by so much built in technology. I have some friends in IT who have said that it can be scary to use Alexa etc. because it's a way to track more and more information on individual people. Think of all the stuff that goes on in hotel rooms... if it was all being tracked and monitored. Eeps. As beautiful as it is, I'd rather have all the beauty with less built in function so that I could at least "feel" as though I had some privacy.

I sometimes bring a laptop with a wired ethernet adaptor and plug it into the ethernet jacks meant for the TV, phone etc, ran Wireshark and saw lots of interesting stuff!

I stayed across the street at the St. Regis New York in their Bentley Suite for $10,500/night (see video th-cam.com/video/0wMfbfGRmt4/w-d-xo.html ) a couple years ago and remember looking across the street at the Peninsula and saw what what appeared to be a large suite. I was on the 15th floor of the St Regis so maybe I was looking at the 17th floor of the Peninsula?
