I thought Charlie was inconsistent and most certainly not at his best. He was well held/beaten in a number of games. Thought Ollie H and Orazio were fell short of expectation as did Walsh though he was obviously hindered by his back injury flare up.
I thought Ollie got more consistent with how he played the game from when he did at the start of the year. The Walsh call is harsh even if his standards are higher than others
Even when Harry was shaky in front of goals he was still doing a LOT of work creating space in the 50 with his leading patterns AND then coming down the wing to link up and take those down the line contested marks. The role Pittonet just isn't fit enough to play!! Charlie too interested in taking one handed marks against 2 opponents to do the blue collar stuff.
It is good to see how everyone's opinion can differ. how you can put Charlie and Harry on the same line as Patrick and Jacob absolutely staggers me. Not in the same street. Maybe they should start paying by performance. Someone should get Voss to coach from the Box instead of the boundary line so he can see what is happening.
We need our bottom 6-8 role players to lift and play their role more consistently That and getting some durability into our squad will make a huge difference Small forwards, high half forwards need to get to work in fitness, speed and skills by hand and foot We need better disposal across the board Go Blues in 2025 Really hope we land Houston. Will instantly be the best kick in our team
Good job Terry. Creating much discussion at home. Our thoughts…Disagree with Charlie, well held and kicking was off but a consistent contributor. Hewitt was elite. Cincotta was consistent and often times one of our best. Kemp definitely needs to go up into consistent. Cotterell fell short of expectation. And maybe Elijah needs to go into occasional impact.
I felt Elijah was very inconsistent in patches and didn’t put in the gut effort we needed. He was definitely good at moments, but agree, probably should be down a tier. A lot was asked of Kemp this year and I felt he stepped up most of the time. Hopefully they all move into the elite tier next season when we win a flag!
we have 2 elite in Crippa and Weitering, we have a lot of consistant performers in fact I would put De Koning, Nemman, McKay, Curnow, Saad, Acres, Walsh and a couple of others, we have falshy players who have occasional inmpact and we have quite a few who are not upto it players like Motlop, Sam Durdin, Jack Martin (due to his consistant injuries)
Disagree with Orazio, Ollie Hollands and Cotts all fell short of expectation. I expected Ollie to improve and all he did was run around not getting a kick all season I expect a small forward that played 15 games to kick at least a goal a game or provide elite defensive pressure which Orazio did neither. My expectations for Cotts were a lot higher after his finals impact.
That's fair. I honestly had minimal expectation or Orazio and was stunned we were able to see 10+ games from him considering how bad our injury profile was.
Filmed this prior to the announcement of our delistings*
Well covered with the exception of Weitering who was not elite but consistant, very good player but has trouble handling preasure.

bit harsh

TDK was elite
Terry has such a calming voice 😊
😂

Absolutely agree about Harry. Did so much work around the ground, not only in front of goal.
Ollie H had some absolute stinkers this season.
What about lord?
WHERE IS FANTASIA??? His Champion Data stats were like at VAFA level.
Sam Walsh , not his best year but still elite.
Fogarty , occasional impact.
Zac Williams , consistent performer.

I battled with it too, but ultimately they made the AA squad and therefore were elite.
Harry should have been AA
Recency bias hurt him I reckon
I wonder how many of our players would make an "elite or strong leadership category" for 2024?
interesting!

feel like elijah had a much better year than kemp, context or situation aside

@@ilvtv3513Love the positivity. Go Blues!
Glad you enjoyed it!
needed a debutant category
Pitto no way
Spot on Terry. I can't argue with these ratings.
Spots 1 to 10 ranking, crippa, crippa, crippa, crippa, crippa...... rest had a very very average year
Cripps had a Brownlow-level year so anyone else would be far off his standard!
Tom was robbed ))
If you make the AA squad you’re an elite performer

3 more categories. Met expectations (Binns) exceeded expectations (Cinc, Cow). NA injured Doc, SOJ, ???
Morning Tez morning all

Ollie Hollands was far from consistent cmon now he had multiple games of completely disappearing
@@Marcusgtf Should have been dropped for Binns early in the season
Too be honest most of the players had multiple inconsistent matches. But this is overall performance
hello
charlie won games but he also did not turn up sometimes flashing in and out of games doesnt make you elite
Hi could you do the same thing using pommies game rankings across the year?
