Athlean-X Supplement Review: In today's video we're doing a step by step, no B.S review of Jeff Cavaliere's supplement line "Athlean RX". This includes the Athlean RX pre-workout formula "X-Cite", along with the other products including "X-LR8", "Reconstruxion" and his new intra-workout supplement "PRX". Are the Athlean RX supplements worth the money, or is this just another over hyped, over priced line of fitness supplements to avoid? We'll go over the ingredients and dosages that Jeff Caveliere is using and what the science actually says. Related tags for the algo: athlean-x fake weights, jeff cavaliere fake weights, athlean-x chest, athlean-x cardio, athlean-x abs.

Quick summary of the video. One grifter (Nalewanyj) who sells basically useless unnecessary supplements criticizes another grifter who sells basically useless unnecessary supplements. Pro tip my snake oil selling dude. If you want to appear credible and "scientific", put a disclaimer at the BEGINNING of your video that you may have a bias as you also sell supplements.

Jeff is still great but i guess overtime, making new content becomes tougher cos there are only that many ways a person can train pecs , shoulders etc.. Also , content creators will also face greater competition as more and more people will jump on the bandwagon. Only 10% are credible the rest are just copycats or B.shitters.

Money corrupts a lot of people. The more they have, the more they seem to want. Jeff basically became what he originally fought against. Useless supps and some ridiculous exercise variations just to make content, because there's only so much you can talk about the bench, squat and deadlift.

As someone who got into fitness through Jeff's content (and even saw results from one of his programs) I am glad other content creators put out this kind of content. 1) It grounds the debate and shows that nobody is (nor should be) above critique and 2) It helps to build a cautious mindset and be careful and selective of the information/product that's being offered.

Honestly many TH-camrs need to realise that they are better off if they stay solely in their niche. For example, when Chris Heria starts talking abt nutrition or squats, when AthleneX talks abt his products, everything goes wrong. They should just stick to what they're good at. There's a reason why Sean doesnt make a video about powerlifting and stick to bodybuilding. Because he knows that there are more knowledgeable ppl on that topic.

@@seyonmahendran7182 I partially agree I mean Jeff gives great physical therapy advice and mobility advice and shows proper form which is super important. There are better people for building muscle and strength tho and I think that using the fake weights was to help his image in those areas so people would buy his products over someone else's I just wish he marketed more toward his area of expertise or atleast didn't use the fake weights as it hurts his credibility to me. I mean if u will go out of your way to buy and use fake weights why would u disclose that u get testosterone from your doctor or something else not illegal but that gives u an edge in looking like he does which is just not maintainable for most people( not saying he is for sure or anything but now I have suspicion where if he didn't lie about the weights I'd never have had.)

I just personally dislike the disingenuous stuff being used to sell things mostly to young impressionable people or people who really want to change their lives and are trusting him because he gives such good advice I just wish he was honest about it as I think he is better than needing to lie he isn't gimmicky or a charlatan but an accomplished professional full of useful info that should be enough, it maybe more societies fault for making people think u need to lift super heavy to be able to train fitness when that's not the case but either way he partook in it in a way that I find disappointing but I still respect his value and knowledge base. Sean, I trust your insights very much. I also follow Jeff Cavaliere's advice regarding specific exercises and general anatomic knowledge. The fact is, my own transformations over the past 3 years have a lot to do with learning from both of you. But I agree with you that Cavaliere's supplements are puzzling and I have never used them.
For supplementation, I research and purchase individual ingredients and make my own. But your Real Science line is very close to what I create myself!

The whole argument of not being in better shape is so bad. You don't need to be better than someone to provide information. Like was Bob Bowman a better swimmer than Phelps? No. He was still an excellent coach. Was Cus a bettet boxer than Tyson? Again no. Is Phil Heath/Brandon Curry/Big Ramy's coach a better bodybuilder than each of them? No. You don't need to be better than to coach.
Secondly, Jeff is a physical therapist. That on paper does not qualify him on topics of nutrition - which is the topic Sean is talking about. Also, if you really care about knowledge, how about you look at these contrasting opinions and go read the available literature to decide which of the two seems to be more inline with current scientific knowledge right now?

@@jamesperez6785 unfortunately I bought into Jeff's Cavaliers nonsense for too long. It's sad that one of the most popular fitness youtubers actually dosen't have any idea what he is doing, used fake weights on his deadlift and has probably gotten a lot of people injured teaching them horrible form.

To say he doesn’t know anything is pretty silly since he worked for a MLB baseball franchise, however the problem these fitness guys run into is they need/want to make more money and that allure can be corrosive to someone’s credibility.

@@24pagedown there is no doubting Jeff knows his stuff due to his credentials ... which makes it more concerning that he intentionally miss leads his largely beginner audience despite knowing better

Back when I thought Jeff was a fitness god I wanted to buy his Preworkout, but somehow managed to figure out that creatine HCL would be pointless while already on Mono

@@scottgerrin2558 yeah, I got a ad on Facebook from his Facebook page. When I looked into him, I ended up buying another protein brand. As jim called out this other brand, and the other brand proved that their protein was more pure than Jim’s. My bad for the unnecessary story but it’s crazy how these trash brands have such big followings 😂😂

@@cesarparedes3805, Jeff has a huge following due to the good content of the actual exercises. Perhaps with that, there are those falling into a trap with supplement offerings. That's unfortunate because his exercise content has always been excellent. I think he is doing his followers a dis-service, and letting them down in a huge way.

@@mr.c6674 He has a huge following because most of them are beginners. The only excellent thing he does is form videos. His exercise selection is generally not very good because he focuses too much on new novel exercises that are "more effective" rather than the basics which are proven and tested to be effective because new exercises bring in more clicks.

Thanks for what you do my brother.
No hate to anyone, but it’s great to hear knowledgeable people calling out the bullshit, and guiding people.
Keep up the amazing work. Your channel definitely deserves to thrive. ❤️
