Are the theologians so confident in their smarts of the Scriptures that they don't need to invite the Holy Spirit's help, guidance and discernment in these discussions? KJV Genesis 2:16-17
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
By sin, death came into the world; by Christ's resurrection death was done away with. As we die in Christ, we will be resurrected as He was ressurected in victory.
I have been questioned by many Moslem friends that how can I say that Jesus is God, and then say that He died for our sins. They unanimously cry out "God cannot die." I then ask the question, cannot God do all things, is there anything He cannot do? Why would you put restrictions on Him?
