The first NBA game I ever watched was between the NY Knicks-LA Lakers in the 1970 finals if I'm not mistaken in a b&w TV.
I was a 12 yrs old kid growing up in Puerto Rico and that day Jerry West immediatelly became one of my favorite players ever. To this day that's still the way I feel about him.

I wish they did more with it tho. We’ve all seen mock ups of what a different nba logo would look like with different players. Why not do a special edition for each nba team for the 80th anniversary where each team gets an iconic moment as the logo. Bulls get Jordan’s dunk Raptors get Vince so on and so forth. Would be really cool to see.
