I hope this reduces the effect that the LL systen was having on players rooting against their main heroes in large events. Grats on 20k! May PTM bring you to 30k! Here for the journey
The bulk of Kayo's points come from PQ, if that change was enacted, he'd be top of the board right now. Or at least, he'd have right around 200 points extra so he'd be pretty close to it.
Not gonna lie, happy we got the LL changes. Not so much going against kayo for a while longer lol but this is healthy and necessary as this game gets bigger
This sounds like great news for me. I've only played a little bit of Blitz with my friends, but I got the Kayo deck on release and haven't been able to make it to any armoury events yet. It was getting a little discouraging seeing how fast he was getting points.
some comparisons for previous system vs new system kayo LL points RTNs, 35 wins, 140 points vs what could have been 175 points in the new system PQs, 79 wins, 237 vs 395 (win count from LSS twitter graphics) kayo would have more LL points in the new system (570) compared to the old system (557) off of his PQ & RTN wins alone. idk where his other 220 points in the old system came from but if its something like 1 calling win and 3 battle hardened wins he would have been at 695 with the new system. i think the amount of time heroes like kayo are sticking around is lower than before, not higher. that being said i really like this adjustment, getting tier 1 meta heroes rotating through the system faster feels like a good thing, thanks for the video!
It depends. As a new player, it can be discouraging to buy into a deck you would otherwise really enjoy, if your hero is all but confirmed to rotate by the end of the year. This is why I do not see any reason to even attempt to buy the Kayo CC deck. Kayo will be gone before long. Lowering the points overall slightly would have been better for the long term health of the game, imo. If a hero tears up everything in its path, it would still LL just as fast, if the points for the small events were kept as they were.
Personally I think the more of your hero at an event the less ll points. The less amount at a event more points. Reward the underdogs. But just my thought. That means new players don't get discouraged because their favored hero might ll fast as it just released.
As a new player straight into CC (since Heavy Hitters release) I concur with the changes. It’s discouraging to spend the money building a new deck only to have that hero LL.
This smacks of that they were just upset Dromai LLed before their Miragai Dust came out and they expected her to be in the format longer. This will create fewer spikes and more consistent gains.
This could cause the meta to be stale and boring for longer with Enigma "pillow fort" play style. We could just have to deal with garbage longer. I hope they plan on adjusting this again or other things to avoid stale top 2 heroes from being top 2 too long.
Weekly LL is still too fast. The first Monday of the month instead of every Monday would also smooth it out & and keep heroes from "blinking out of existence".
Going back to a slower LL seems fine, but that's back to taking just about entire Seasons for a LL Rotation to happen. We'd be back at Lexi situations where the deck leaving "Overstays its welcome" instead of the Dromai's "Last Dance".

Many congratulations on the 20K!!!
CONGRATS ON 20,000!!!
Hype he hit 20 thousand

i typed a number wrong when i was doing math its 180 points left not 220 and my guess would be 670 instead of 695

Worlds should be more than any other events
happy about the LL change, i would like to see them proactively apply these changes to this latest season to heros taht havent LL'd yet
Congrats to 20k duude 🤟🤟🤟🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
this was needed. great for the game to enjoy your heroes a bit longer.
Congrats on the 20k!! So are you a living legend now? 😂 i think this change was needed. It’s pretty cool in my opinion

Best hero’s will always float to the top no matter the point distribution
3 months on, not sure how much this is working, Zen is already at close to 600 points.

Imagine if you were introduced to the game with the kayo cc precon RIP
The timing of this does make me wonder if they would have made the change to points if they didn't just release Armory Deck: Kayo.
I think PT being as worth as much as Worlds seems weird. Skirmish/RTN/PQ are going to be hero bloodbaths with heroes LL'ing.
They said hold up..we need to sell more of these Kayo armory decks

Big thumbs up from me, I think this will do good things to the meta

Love these changes!
5 for skirmiss is a bit to high, I think
It'll depend on how those are run. Last time, they split between limited and blitz, meaning that blitz didn't get as many points as it could have
Michael Hamilton putting 500+ exclusively on Iyslander 😅
This is good soup stuff 👌🏻
I like the changes, but as the world's biggest Kayo hater, it shakes me to my core. 😂
