Those "small" fish don't know how lucky they got when they got sent to your house full of awesome tanks!!!
Lol, yep they won't be "slumming" it too long in the 315 gallon 😊😊
Hey man,good job
I’m from Iran and really enjoying your videos
I am also a fish keeper
Sorry for the late reply, TH-cam put your comment in "held for review" for some reason. Iran awesome! thanks for watching! 😊
Awesome! those Xingu River peacock bass are going to look sweet when huge swimming the 4,500 gallon.
Agreed! 😊😊
water was a good idea though to push the sand/gravel/rocks to one side of the aquarium, instead of being as spread out so you can shovel the material at the other end. using a garden hose?
9:00 i like this tank. you dont really see many people stocking green tiger barbs on youtube. one of my big dream tanks was a big tank like a 600 with green tiger barbs, odessa barbs, wonder killies, emperor tetra and a bichir or 2. also the wild type variant of golden barbs looks super cool, very similar to a green tiger, kinda looks like a little yellow perch
😊
The 600 is looking awesome!!
Thanks! 😊
Your silver looks amazing never seen one look like that 💯
Thanks! He is pretty dark right now with a ton of red...hopefully he stays that way when he gets big 😊
@@AquariumDomain. I hope so he would look crazy good full grow
I know how the red tailed sharks are know to chase that's good that everyone is getting along. I once owned a Rouge Bala shark about 12 inches long. He would chase all my cichlids at feeding time until all the food was gone.lol
😊
All good.
😊
Love these updates! Great to see how you recover from problems as well - cheers buddy!
I enjoyed the LRB interview, was sick the last week and half and it was nice to have something good to listen to when not sleeping lol 😊
Looking great! Really looking forward to the video of the 600 without a person present!❤
Thanks Jeff! Going to be interesting to see how the "no human" present videos turn out. 😊
@@AquariumDomain. I think they will turn out great 👍
The grow out fish look great in the 315g. That was a great idea so you can really observe them. Those red hooks are going to get ginormous in the 4500g lol.. Keep up the good work and thanks for the content
I wish I had started them in the 315, one of my favorite tanks right now 😊
You would need a settling tank for the trash pump to pump to, then another pump to pump the water back.
😊
Awesome
😊
I know this video is delayed but here is a thought: Since you have to do water changes anyways, you could, in theory keep pumping fish room water into the big tank and theoretically as you pump water out of the tanks and into this one, sort of coral it where you want until eventually you get most of water out. That being said, another thing to try is filling with water, running trash pump inside the big tank to dump back into big tank to use water pressure to move all the sand and pebbles towards corner itself where you can let it air dry. There is really no good way to do it unfortunately. What you are doing is reverse beach reclamation or sand tailings removal really. It requires pump to move things from A to B and another pump to pump reclaimed water B to A (ie if you were putting all the sand and pebbles into a giant tank and that giant tank would spill into an inline pump to pump water back to big tank. That is what I would have probably done. I have been eyeballing pumps at harbor freight for that very reason actually. Just have not had a dire need yet but I am sure its coming.
This is exactly what I was thinking. Pump the water out and into a tub with mesh over it and have a pump in the tub moving the water back into the tank. He could even pump into mesh bags in the tank and remove those as they fill up.
Goals!
😊
Check out some of the new fish Kevin and Rod just brought back from overseas you really should get one of those Phoenix barbs or maybe two of them. They are great size and very active fish
Phoenix Barbs are sweet, but I don't really have the right tank for them. They would fit perfectly in the 4500, but I am keeping that South American / Amazon only. I keep checking their site hoping that I can find a deal on a pair of Stingray. 😊
I love the looks of you tanks so natural looking trying to get that affect myself.have to find somewhere with aquarium wood
Thanks...the natural look is definitely my thing 😊
Can't wait
Larry! Me too man! 😊
Top video mate
Thank you sir! 😊
Great update. Man, you get through soooo much work!! Love how you share the good stuff and all the problem solving you have to do.
Thanks! 😊
Awesome update! Your little monsters 👹 are looking great in your 350 gallon aquarium. Those bumblebee 🐝 Oscar’s and bass look stunning already! Arrowana has some nice color on it too.
Yeah, so much more enjoyable having them in the tank instead of the tub 😊
I can’t get over how healthy and vibrantly coloured your rainbow sharks and the tank mates for that matter are AD 👍☹️
I think the secret might be sinking carnivore pellets...the Rainbow Sharks love them! 😊
Love it! Don't have time for a long comment but really enjoy these updates. Take care.
Thanks Phil! 😊
Of course my buddy, Jeremy, has a 40 gallon desktop tank. 😂
Everything is looking great!!!
Hehe...I thought a 60 gallon was a bit much 😊😊
Incredible. Best fish channel. Loving your work. Watching from Australia
When I lived in Australia I had a shark pool with port Jackson’s what do you have living there ? Living smaller in hollland now and just moved so building something big soon 😎
Australia nice! 😊
Your channel is super underrated! I really enjoy all your videos so I hope you get more subs 😊 keep making these videos because all your fish look amazing and super healthy . I look forward to new videos when they come up ! Keep it coming and looking forward to see the big sharks get an upgrade
Thank you! I was sick for a week and a half (sucked), but finally feeling good again and back onto the aquarium projects...hopefully some really good progress on Predator Bay 3000 coming soon! 😊
I like how your desktop aquarium is bigger than any of my tanks😂 love the vids man 💪
Lol 😝
Yessss!!!!! I was just thinking it should be time for aquarium domain to upload. :)
Life got a little busy there for a minute, but still making progress in the fish basement! 😊
Since the few fish you currently have in your 45-hundred gallon tank seem to spend their time in only one area within the tank, could you perhaps create a temporary (netting) barrier within the tank and temporarily partition the tank into two areas so that you could safely grow out smaller fish within a protected area?
They do go all over the tank, they just all tend to stay together in a group. I built the 4500 with capability for section dividers, so that is no problem, but it is a lot easier to feed the smaller fish in the 315 gallon than the 4500 gallon with all of the current. Mini monsters grow quick...they will be in the 4500 gallon in no time.😊
New video coming anytime soon? Just wondering. I love your videos 😊
Thanks Jordan! I am hoping to have it out tomorrow morning! 😊
Hey just something that keeps popping into mind with the Asian community tank. If I remember correctly you have a rather intense bunch of plants growing in a riparium style bog sump. I feel like the reason the plants in the main tank aren't thriving as well is due to a lack of nutrients. And while fert will help. You might be able to just remove some of the sump plants and get better results. Best of luck man I love to see it.
Mini monsters rocking the new home.
Seems like that gravel vac needs to be rigged up with an outside settling tub and a return pump to pipe the water back into the tank as needed. That way you could make its thirst sustainable.
Hehe...that is pretty much what it would take lol😊 I have never seen any pump push water like that bad boy...which I guess shouldn't surprise me with that 2" hose. 😊
Awesome video great footage thanks for sharing respect
Thanks! 😊
I do not envy you for having to take out all that sand.😅 I give myself the same mindset though with my projects saying it going to be awesome when it's done... it works. All the fish look great too btw. Good luck with that 3000.
Hey Austin! Yeah that is the only way to get through the big projects...one step at a time. All I have to do is look around and see the results of other big projects and I know the results are worth it! 😊
Beautiful speciems
They are looking great...can't wait to see them in the 4500! 😊
great Vid Keep it up
Thanks! 😊
Great video 😊 Detroit
Detroit, sweet! 😊
Where did you get a White-Tailed Rainbowshark? Is it just a random variant and was sold as a Red-Tailed? That white tail just looks so beautiful.
They were sold as Ghost Sharks, bought them 2-3 years ago from an LFS.
Man I don't think those red tails could find each other to fight for dominance in that traffic
Lol...that is funny...and maybe true 😊😊
What do you use in the terrestrial plant baskets as media? I’m about to finish my first outdoor pot pond (40 gallon glazed pot with a DIY filter for Japanese rice fish), and wasn’t sure what to use in place of the soil. Do you use pea gravel, lava rock, an aquaponics media?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Absolutely love your channel by the way! Can hardly wait for the grow out fish to be added to the 4500 tank! I check at least once a week to see any new info on that tank!
I use all of those (pea gravel, lava rock, aquaponic clay based substrates and clay substrates like fluorite...they all work.
Hopefully I will have another video out in a week or so, was sick as a dog the last 7-8 days and just now getting back on my feet 😊
@@AquariumDomain. thank you! Man, 7-8 days is rough. I hope you feel better soon!
Get some golden torpedo barbs
I have one, but I agree more would be better! 😊
What type of heater do u use to heat the big tank ?
I heat the room and not the individual tanks.
I can get 72" 5/8 glass for 100$ planning on building a 20ftx4x4 reef ;3 glass pannels. . Water might have to sit lower on glass. Would glass n silicone be cheaper than wood n fiberglass?
If you can get 72"x48" x 5/8" glass for $100 that is really cheap, probably very similar in cost to wood/fiberglass.
What peacock bass are those ?
Xingu Peacock Bass (Cichla Melaniae)
"xingu river peacock bass" are those the solid lime green ones with 3-4 circular patches like the one you already have in the 4500?
No that is an Orinoco Peacock Bass. I have never seen an adult Xingu River Peacock Bass, so I am excited to see what they look like once they mature!😊
which tank is going to be the African cichlid HAP tank ?
Either the current 750 galon Amazon Islands tank or the 600 gallon Reef Slope tank...haven't fully decided yet.
oh man that might just be the most amazing thing on earth , you can put so many of so many different types , the biggest i've seen them is the 600 gallon tank eric rifkens "riff waters" has@@AquariumDomain.
do your big fish not get super stressed by all the noise and vibrations of building the 2 new tanks ?
Never seen them react to anything, but there is very little vibration, just cuts, gluing and screws going in. 😊
👑💪💪👍👍
😊
So, what’s wrong with micro bubbles? Everyone who has aquariums has micro bubbles - in what context are they a problem?
I was getting so many micro bubbles from the return from the fx6 being suspended that it was making the water appear cloudy. So the context is water clarity / visibility.
2nd Lets Gooo!
Woot! 😊😊
Updates so still no sharks 😅 what kinda sharks wil go in the 3000? 😬
Oh I already have the Sharks, they are in the current Predator Bay 1800 gallon tank. They are just getting a tank upgrade. Check out my Predator Bay playlist and you can see them all go from 12-18" sharks to the 4+ foot long beasts they are now. 😊
I tried 😅 but then seeing a indoor koi pond 😬 lucky ya showed the sharks there 😍 sadly that’s how I lost my bamboo shark mine jumped out also heard a weird sound slept before the tank myself my dog didn’t move at all so didn’t think much about untill I stepped on my death bamboo shark 😭
When is the next video coming out. You are starving us, lol.
I have been sick for the last week, just now starting to get back on my feet, so unfortunately I haven't made any progress on anything. I'll be back at it this week 😊
I'm sorry to hear that. Your health is more important. I will be on the lookout for the next video.
Go hire some high school football players lineman only!
No kidding...I need to! 😊
Or wrestlers
Woot! 😊
