Hi Andrea, when you said that if the gum pockets are eg 4mm and are regularly cleaned eg every 3 months, does that mean the pockets would get shorter? You seem to say that they should go away. Also, I am curious as to if gum pockets will actually get deeper with cleans so often ie 3-monthly since the pockets are disturbed with the scaler ever so often?

Did you end up needing surgery or have you been able to maintain your pockets with regular cleanings? I am having the same issue as you.

Dental probiotics are far more effective than standard treatments. These products are different from the products used for the GI tract. You can learn about several formulations on Amazon as well as even TH-cam. You buy and use these products by simply mail ordering them. No prescription required.

sowmya brushing and flossing is the best to do at home and also of course to see your dental hygienist every 3 months. Do you have a Waterpik as well?

Take a supplement like proDentim… I was skeptical but it works….very well…the only thing I have found that helps…look into the oral microbiome…

Hi im RDH in south korea. im studying english for English-speaking patient. I look with subtitles. I want to know if Google has misinterpreted a word that came out in 2:40 seconds. it says 'turner harbors a lot of bacteria'. what is 'turner'? I would appreciate it if you let me know. :)

Is there a slight chance to keep your teeth with periodontal disease or is it going to happen no matter what?

what a pity the dental hygienist profession doesn't exist in France! Hence, dentists do it all and probably don't take as much time as they should to assess pockets, explain and educate the patients!
I have had good oral hygiene and saw so many dentists because of gum inflammation and as they saw no bone loss and no pocket - they send me back home. Not sure they even bothered to look for one isolate pocket.. 5 years later I found out I have several harmful bacteria after I had a deeper gum probe taken at a gum specialist. She yet saw no pocket. I don't understand at all. Nor what I should do, she proposed a deep cleaning with laser and hydroxide perogen, only 30 min procedure but not equivalent to SRP though.
