@@zissupa I found the default in-game buffer, not much of a help but does the trick. I have the Master Class latest build, it is a totally new game, few skills, quest level up and such. Buffer is not that much needed. Just need to change the adena rates cause it's painfuly expensive 😂
Aside that, it would be great to find a good buffer and make a tutorial how to implement it in the server. The l2j community seems to have some, just need some research.

Tried setting up Interlude servers before but I always had to deal with missing guides and those I managed to find and barely worked were auto-translated from Russian. You went from 0 to 100 in less than 10 minutes. Thank you, kind sir.

Kinda chaotic process and some things worth to mention:
1. Don't use default paths for installing xammp, eclipse and workspace directory. You just trash your system for a game. A suggestion is to create a Server folder inside the client folder where you'd store all related stuff for server.
2. It is worth to mention xammp installation process. You only need MySQL and Apache, you never use other trash like filezilla, tomcat or mercury.
2. Bitbucket with all the projects in 1 is a terrible idea. Why would you need to download every single chronicle server there is if you want to get 1 specific is beyond me. It's over 90% of files you don't need to compile the server. I guess Mobius was just lazy and wanted to use git add . on all new changes, but it's a terrible approach.
Thanks! I’ve only made a video tutorial after a written guide so people can create a server and have some fun :). In the end people have a guide which works even if in pros views is not the best approach. Most important thing for many is that it works ✌️
I am getting the error “Server terminated abnormally” when I try to run the Login Server VBS script.Anyone can help ?
I have left L2 for a long time now. As for those that want to let some friends play as a small local service, you will have to change
1. hosts file adding information of your IP and game ports.
2. You will have to add game port permission in your router
3. Edit ports and server information in the Login Server DBS, Game server DBS,
That is what I remember. Even if it is not entirely the same, it is what requires the game to know so that other can connect.

@zissupa it's not hard, just complicated for some simple users without any experience in making servers. If you go in the configuration files, you will have to open ports on your router that are used by gameserver and login server so that your friends can see them or else they will fall on firewalls. I tried yesterday as a single computer and it worked fine but there are a lot of things that don't work. The quest list that gives you guidance where to go depending on your level doesn't work. You have to remember if you played in the past where to go and what to do for class transfer. I am going to try high five or Kamael to see if the files are better. I have old server files of high five that I had on my server here in the US and had 15-20 friends from Greece connecting to play with me. I had color stages for enchant glows from blue to green, purple, orange, yellow, etc, buff bot in every city, I can't believe how much I liked this game, once upon a time. All quests worked and there was an option as an admin to look at items that drop from mobs, I could increase or decrease xp and adena rates, but this interlude classic is not complete and I don't hear the sounds the player makes but only some mobs and there is so much lag-latency on same computer. Imagine connecting from another. Good work though. I hope he improves the files of each server.

I'm new in this and, can you please explain me how to change monster's info: appearance, droplist, stats, etc...
Also, how can I spawn Gmshop and Buffer npcs?
I reinstalled my Windows so I no longer have anything L2 related.
To change drops, go to game/data/stats/npc and open the file that has the Monster ID and change the drops.
L2J Mobius doesn't come with a GM shop so you will have to create it from scratch.
There is a Scheme Buffer and you will have to spawn it. Check for the file Buffer in the data or config folders ( I don't remember exactly. But in the same folder you will find Class Masters NPC and Nobless master. Open the files and look for their NPC ID)
In game, type ///admin and add the NPC ID & click Spawn.

I have a problem to install CT0 Interlude Server - don't Open database installer and gameserver too, i have all install.

Yes you can. When I had the server I started to build a character with skills from other classes so I can fight Antharas&valakas with a party of 9 :).

This Tutorial is only for Mobius Files.
When I enable faction mod in mobius, I can still attack same faction with CTRL(force attack) How can I fix this? I tried editing the code in Player but no luck.

Don’t know LINUX , and I’ve just made a video after the written tutorial for win64 😀
I think it would be doable, I assume you would have to migrate the *.vbs script to bash or python maby to be more easily used in a linux environment, aside from that I think you shouldn't have too much trouble

Everything is fine, but when i open xampp and press ,,admin'' there is nothing like classicinterlude or something, i have less folders there than you have on this video. what could i do or what i did wrong?

I just can open the GameServer and its stay on "LoginServerThread: Connecting to...", and LoginServer just gives me "Terminated abnormally", there is a log that i can see? Or what i'm doing wrong?

all here is not free cut paste from ohers with donation 200 E for access and month payment. Freeware version is full of bugs as old as l2 is.
How to add a mod with pvp Phantom players. I once downloaded such a mod for interlude. You could spam as mobs randomly dressed chars and pvp with them or spend tvt.

Well, install the Classic client. Other than that I dont know.
Followed everything to a T, but you've lost me at Step 8 where you have to select the "db_installer" folder. This folder does not exist in any of the folders I've downloaded or extracted. (I'm using C1 Harbingers of War). I only have config, data, images folders in the packaged folder. And the game folder has animations, forcefeedback, system, sounds etc. (both folders do not include db_installer)... what am I doing wrong?!

Thank you very much my friend. You fulfilled my old dream, I love this game very much and have long wanted to find a working server to remember the old days. Could you tell me how to save databases with character progress and then restore progress after reinstalling Windows? In my last build, the databases were stored in the Navigat program.

So on XAMPP press on admin next to MySQL then you will have at the top the Export and Import buttons.
You can Save(export) all databases or under "Export Method" select "Custom" and choose which DB you want to save. Enjoy!

Does anyone have the list of NPC IDs or where can I get it from for Interlude?
You can search for ITEMs/NPCs/Skills ID inside L2Server files. Go to game\data\stats\ and in the search bar look for your Item/NPC name. Also in the Windows Folder options at the top, you have : "File", "Home", "Share", "View", & "Search". Click on "Search" -> "Advanced Options" & Select "File Content". This setting will allow you to search inside Documents as well(for ex. HTML Files that you open with Notepad).

I follow the video and success in making a C4 server. Everything seem fine until I open system folder. There is no L2.exe there. Is something wrong??
You downloaded the system Patch also? The link is in the same document where you tool the client.

This way to create a server works only for solo playing. You can't play on this server with your friends, am I right?
You can make it public, but you need extra setup which I dont know.

@@zissupa tried essence vanguard but at end don't work with jbs files to instal game/login server. Got error when i try open those files
took long to clone, will try another chronicles but near sure will have same problem. will look on google what happen, maybe i miss some library of something to open those files
@@JapanGamz on my old PC it took around 1,5h🤷🏼♂️.
Also it takes a lot of time, because it clones the files for all of those chronicles, so you have to do this only once and have all of them.
How can i change the project? I made Age of Magic, but its boring. Want to make other client! Help pls!

Hello friend. Got a problem that i can't solve. Firs time when i did everything like you. but by mistake i compiled normal Interlude Client, not the Classic one you did. Anyway it worked fine, after that i noticed that i made the mistake with the client, and i decided to change it all. So i deleted all the files i compiled before, and made all from scratch again. So here is the point, like by me, all working, but when i log to the game, and enter name and password, i get an ERROR, INVALID SOCKET . I can't get it what is that , because im new to Development, and 30% understanding what's going on. Could you help me out please !

Did you edit or tried to costumized drops, or anything in file of the mobs? If you did and made even a very small typographical error the file will be corrupted. All the mobs in the files will gone and will not work. If thats the case look for that typographical error.
@@alvinlumba2394 oh yeeees you are right!!! If you add even an extra space, the mobs will disappear.
Does this apply to chronicles 2? I am an old school l2 gamer. I wanted to have the experience I had with chronicles 2 or 3.
I think you can install older chronicles too 👍 those before C4 .

Close the server(let the Mysql connected), disconnect your character, give yourself access, refresh the page to check access lvl is 100 , save at the bottom, restart the login and server, connect and check in game.

I'm trying to download the Protocol 228 client and after a while it fails
Its strange, google drive links should be very stable , maybe your internet connection drops?
@@zissupa I tried downloading it with various browsers and it stops at around 70% and i get the "it failed to download" error. In one browser i get something like "you don't have access to this..." or something like that, but after already downloading around 70%.
