- In this video I'll show you how customize some aspects of the Community board for a Lineage 2 Java SERVER.
It's all about looking at the CODE inside the files, and compare that with what you see in game. This is how I figured out how to make the changes.

Even though they are old guides, I believe you can still learn from them and try to build your own NPCs.

Great guide to help newbie developers.
However I have to add 2 things.
A: it would be a great help and time saver if you would show how to restart some specific things (like html) through the game with the //admin command.
2: I know that this will be a nightmare for most of the people but is better and most importantly SAFER to do changes through Eclipse reason is because Eclipse can spot mistakes like for example the missing (") from the file that you have shown. Making changes through note pad sometimes can lead to catastrophic failures and if you don't know how to read the console (like most of the people I have seen) you will not be able to detect the error.

Do anyone by chance know how to fix this? I've made Life stones and Skill enchantment books stackable, but when I try to augment item, it removes not only one but all of my life stones. I can't specify the number of Life stone(Like I can do with gemstone). I've the same problem for skill enchantment - one enchantment removes all of skill books.

I dont know.
Most likely you need to edit each NPC so you cant start the Quest. Then idk :D
@@zissupa thanks, sorry if i wasted ur time... i had an "[" set worng to class master settings on the h5 database that u made a tutorial earlyer .. but thanks a lot for all the help ! Some cool thing that u might consider showing ... auto-backup and how to run a backup might be really helpful :) i found something but im not sure about it :))

@@robert-florinmaricas1496 I was thinking at this also. A good starting point is to install a chronicle that has buffer system through the community board, look through the files and see how it was built and do the same for other chronicles.
