Sad facts about idols in the asian country. Idols are created as this super pure beings for depraved fans to flawn over, with many having parasocial relationships (where fans come up with imaginery ideals about the idol becoming super obsessed.) As for the company, a small indie or underground company will fail if the idols they produced ends up in Ai's situation as why Saito was worried and hid the fact Ai has twins. And what's dangerous about the parasocial fans are fans like the stalker. This anime hits heavy on the dark side of the entertainment business and fans.
Oshi No Ko has 2 meanings (more) My favorite Idol and My Idol children. Both fit this show. About Karina.... it is a word play. Ruby saying lick baking soda real fast has a similar wording of able to cry in 10 seconds flat in Japanese. Japanese tend to do word play when words have similar sounding in their language but have two completely different meanings.... in which doesn't work in English.... that part the English version completely failed at making a joke to compensate the word play.
Saito (blonde hair guy) is the president of his company. Which is an small underground company he made. Due to Ai becoming popular his small company grew.
@@FiragaJJC Yeah, I’ve seen a documentary on the industry, it’s absolutely awful. Not being allowed to have children or a partner at the risk of losing your job or people losing their minds over it is so awful! And even if you don’t do those things you’re still at risk of stalkers and danger🥺

A thing that's overlooked in the stalker confrontation scene by a lot of people; Ai had every reason to think that the guy would finish her off and then murder both of her children for good measure. Her final performance, in a sense, was talking him down and making him leave. This is probably also the reason why Aqua wasn't immediately on the phone with an ambulance while he was still there.

Aqua was asking the Gotanda (the director) to teach him about entertainment industry. Gotanda probably surprised cause he thought Aqua was asking him to be literally raised as kid lmao.
