Reviewers failing to see what is plain to anybody with any grasp of what makes Tesla succesful. These 200kWh behemoths will never be profitable for GM. They're loss leaders. They'll only sell in tiny amounts, to boost their brand, so fans can point at it and go "look, this is such a great truck, way better than the Cybertruck". Yeah. Cause the Cybertruck actually turns a profit, and wasn't designed without any regards for efficiency or cost. For the people that manage to get one, great vehicle, but this will never sell in any amount. It would bankrupt GM.
Nice truck but full EV is not my thing, if I’m going to pay $100k for a truck might as well get the 6.2L Denali Ultimate, is a beats on the road and will outlast this Tesla sibling by a lifetime. Sorry hard pass for me.
funny - GM looses money on every sale of it's EV. They can't build EV's profitable yet! thus your not comparing apples to apples. in fact, we don't even know if GMC will put this truck into full production without cancelling it.
That's one way to say it. "GM loses money on every sale of it's EV" when discussing an investment in a new vehicle. A manufacturer might spend 2 billion dollars developing a new vehicle. So, with any brand new model, they're 2 billion dollars in the hole when the first one rolls off of the assembly line and until it is sold. When the second one rolls off of the line and is sold, they've lost 1 billion dollars on each one of the first two. Until they start selling enough vehicles to pay for the money invested in development, any new vehicle model will be a loser. They need to sell 20,000 or 30,000 vehicles or more at $100,000 for each vehicle to start turning a profit. Or they need to sell 40,000 or 50,000 vehicles or more of them at a lower price to start turning a profit.
@@dvader3263 No. They will lose money on every single one of these. It's not about upfront costs. It's about the fact they resorted to putting in a 200kWh pack. It's just brute forcing range. Which directly impacts everything, like suspension, tires, structural integrity. Every single unit they sell loses GM more money.
This truck is why I'd never buy a Cybertruck. I simply can't accept spending $100K+ and getting 300 miles range IF YOU'RE LUCKY. This shows that Tesla could have put out a truck with closer to 500 miles of range, but they chose not to, to save money. And no rear view camera is unacceptable to me, again, especially at the price.
The CyberTruck has a reverse rear view camera. The reverse rear view camera can be turned on at any time and be displayed on the main screen for a constant view to the rear while driving. All Teslas have that feature. Millions of people for many decades have been driving pickups and other trucks, towing large campers, boats and trailers, driving 18 wheelers, dump trucks, log trucks, garbage trucks, insulation and bark-dust blowing trucks, utility vehicles, delivery vehicles, tradespeople's trucks and vans, RVs, Fire Engines, ambulances, car haulers and many more where there is no view to the rear of the vehicle. It's not an issue. People use the side mirrors. Buck up and be an adult. You can do it.
can anyone help me to understand, when midgate fold down, would it be cold to drive ? especially during the winter.. or does it have any isolation between front to backseat?
Maybe we should let Elon know that GM is kicking ass and innovating better than Tesla … apparently Tesla can’t figure out to produce a functional tow vehicle ???

The money is good.
Let me take off my shoes first cuz im asian 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Nice truck but full EV is not my thing, if I’m going to pay $100k for a truck might as well get the 6.2L Denali Ultimate, is a beats on the road and will outlast this Tesla sibling by a lifetime. Sorry hard pass for me.
A working truck? That looks so fragile. One week at work and it will be scratched or dented.
Where can put a spare tire?
For the consumer it’s a great value but for the company as a business it spells doom.
Plus it looks like a truck not a movie prop.
You didn’t do the self drive mode
I still like the cyber truck❤
cybertruck killer
Definitely a better deal than the Tesla.
Can someone say #Payed add
Yes kinda obvious 😂😂😂
funny - GM looses money on every sale of it's EV. They can't build EV's profitable yet! thus your not comparing apples to apples. in fact, we don't even know if GMC will put this truck into full production without cancelling it.
You really think Tesla is selling the cyberturd at a profit?
But does it NACS?
Livin in a rust belt stainle ssteel CBRTK is my only option 😊
Why would anyone buy a cybertruck over this ? No comparison in range or truck-capability
Haven't watched the video, bet it cost 100k at least.
price tag, about $150,000.00 (LOL)
can anyone help me to understand, when midgate fold down, would it be cold to drive ? especially during the winter.. or does it have any isolation between front to backseat?
Maybe we should let Elon know that GM is kicking ass and innovating better than Tesla … apparently Tesla can’t figure out to produce a functional tow vehicle ???
Very nice, expensive though.
the cyber truck is a toy, This is a truck.
oh no not another $100k EV
can't use the tesla super chargers
can can
If this thing was 60k it would sell.
