Bravissimo, Jeff! In general, just add the unit AFTER the number, but that's the same as in English. There are some differences regarding the half and decimals. For example, we use commas to separate decimals. We add the word for "half" = mezzo at the end of the sentence, not right after the number, eg. due litri e mezzo. I may make a video on the topic in the future, I'll note it down!
