Hi Jack, Alphawing5 here. That battle was amazing. I intend on building a larger dreadnought with more accurate proportions, heavier armour and a hangar large enough to fit a few TIEs. Just started the hull today, and it should be done in a few weeks if all goes well!
I think it could bereference to a roman legion, meaning armed with lightining. Probably in reference to the massive cannons. Or maybe on fulminate as in to explode, the one who fulminates.

Battle analysis - While smaller ship has shields, sweep the top deck of the larger ship to clear it of guns, then turn and sweep the less well defended rear of the larger ship, then do a pass under the larger ship which appears to have less guns along the bottom, match speed and maintain fire to the bottom until all reactors are destroyed for the win.

Captain Jack I just love his performance in the opening scene of The Last Jedi, and the look he gives as he accepts his fate. He just gives a frown and stands firm in his place as the rest of the crew take cover, as the bridge explodes killing them all. Mark Lewis Jones is one hell of an actor. Made me fall in love with a character who had 2 minutes of screen time.
In an actual battle the ISD would dominate, the Dreadnought only had point defense laser cannons and a measly 20 something at that. The only chance it had against the ISD was to try to get at least one shot into it with the auto cannons.
Mandator IV, Imperial Star Destroyer, and 4 Munificents with TIE fighters and Vulture Droids, TIE bombers and Hyena Bombers against Venator, Acclamator, 2 Arquitens, and 8 CR 90 Corellian Corvette's with V-19 Torrent's, V-wing fighters, X-wing fighters, ARC-170 fighters, and Y-wing bombers.
Actually it's not size accurate. The Dreadnought is nearly 8000 meters whilst the ISD is only 1600m. But when we divde 8000 by 1600 we get 5, which means for proper sizing, the Dreadnought would need to be just under 5 ISDs long. If you look at the video, the ISD makes the Dreadnought look like it's 2-3 times bigger.
What was dumb with those bombers is that Rise of Skywalker showed that the Resistance had Y-Wing Bombers which would have been better at protecting themselves
The republic was trying to find the huge ship where senator Amidala gets captured by General Grievous because grievous was going to destroy the medical station where all clones gets healed and grievous was going to destroy it by it's heavy canons
Could you do a Republic Cruiser vs. a Droid Command ship? Make sure that the Cruiser is close enough to collide with the Droid Command ship, like in Star Wars: The Clone Wars how Anakin "gave" his ship to the Separatists in the episode, "Storm Over Ryloth."
