FYI: Oldest Cards are 1960 Topps not 1956. I made a mistake on the year. A few wrong first names too. This was an early morning break and my brain wasn't fully charged! :)

The '79 Seaver and Eckersley were awesome, the Morris RC too. The Gwynn card with the bat was incredible ! Nice. Mickey Lolich belongs in the Hall of Fame, along with Jim Kaat and Tommy John. Come on Modern Day Committee........

Thank you for the walk down memory lane. I pulled a lot of those cards out of packs as a teenager. The Mike Marshall card is interesting, as a relief pitcher he pitched in 106 games in the season for the Dodgers. 106 games amazing !

The only cards I ever got from a purple box of these treasures were from the mid to late 70's and early 80s. The earliest I got was from '69. Was hoping for early 60s and late 50s stuff. Dang!

Jim Gantner from the '77 rookie card had an 18-year career with the Brewers, pretty consistent but not great.

wow they made 25000 boxes of this... some guy out bought a lot of collections striped the goodies, then sold off the commons. You did get a nice Nolan Ryan as I type it.

I think I have to find one of these boxes and buy it. All of those cards, especially the vintage, are in really nice shape. Great product. Much better than Fairfield or the World's Greatest Pack Chase.
Man, you got some really nice cards in there. Lots of hall of fame players and stars. That Morris rookie is in great shape. Mine has print smudges on it and was pulled right from a pack back then.
carltopia It’s an expensive box mainly due the incredible condition of the cards and value of some of them. It’s a risk to buy for some but for me it was worth it.
@@JonsSportsCards I agree. I see them on eBay for $170. The condition of the cards alone makes it intriguing for me. I love the 60s and 70s stuff and to see it in such great shape is awesome. They have different versions of them. SOme of which are more like the World's Greatest Card Chase where it's mostly 80s packs, but one vintage pack.
carltopia Be careful of which one you buy. Green and Purple boxes only. Make sure it’s the same named box as this one. All others are rip offs
