Hey DJ before you pull it completely apart I think it's the magnets on your stator you need a new stator. That looks like magnet shavings. My RM z250 did the same thing and I replaced the stator and it ran fine I had the same kind of shavings
Could be your transmission and crank. I just went through it with my rm where I had metal shavings in my oil from the piston and had to do a complete rebuild on it. Best decision is to do a complete rebuild instead of just rebuilding the bottom end.
4 strokes have a decompression lever...you have to do a leak down test. Compression tests can be done on 2 strokes. Also you need to have the throttle wide open when testing compression
Ive been done buy a four stroke blowing up. I will only ride a 2stroke now. Cheap to fix as i pull the motor out of frame and give it to my mechanic, to cut down on labour costs.
Hard to tell without pulling the cylinder. All will be reviled then but it ain't lookin good right now... Hopefully the head, cylinder, and cases aren't damaged.
You are buying some risky machines, that rmz wont bring over 5K ever. And to rebuild the whole motor, with less than a $2000 budget, and expect to make money on it ? No way in hell son
@@shotgunz124 it is not stuck and its stock jets and i am running 32-1 checked rings piston and cylinder could it be the air screw? or a dirty power valve?
I like Suzuki but they are very problematic I've been riding over 40yrs now and they have been the biggest pain in my ass bikes I ever had so now I just stay with my yz and kx

Them rmz are so clean🔥 the 250s and 450s are so underrated tbh if there where estart then hella people would not be talking shit
The bikes have a decompression that's why the compression is so low on the gage it just to make it easier to kick over.
Remember to open your throttle completely up when doing a compression test or the air cant reach the cylinder which will give you untrue reading!

Thank you, I was going to say the same thing.

About time there a video good to see you post again
Love the videos bro
That much metal and you were still able to get it to run, I would strongly suspect the transmission. Most likely took the crank out with it.
Watching from Northern Ireland in the UK loving your channel
Rm army ✊🏼✊🏼
What was the situation? Is there an updated vid?

It’s Lit 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Bro
Like the video but always clean a bike before you start opening things up incase they fall in the motor!
I've had a few times where I had no rod knock or piston slap and the the connecting rod bearings and crank bearings where just fried

Exactly I’m very confused on what he is trying to do.
Good vid
Pull the magnetic screen drain plug looks like a 14 mm below shifter
Ain't got no gas, uh hu.
I am new into flipping dirt bikes and was inspired by your videos. What do you think would be a fair price right now to flip a mint 2008 crf250r
$3000

Those ugly graphics looked exactly like ones for the last carb-YZ 250F....the 2012/2013 model, especially that number graphic.

Hey I got a question I have a rm 80 and when it is supposed to hit the power band it Boggs and dies out any idea for help?
Check the jetting make sure ur running 32-1 4 oz to gallon gas check the power valve it maybe stuck
@@shotgunz124 it is not stuck and its stock jets and i am running 32-1 checked rings piston and cylinder could it be the air screw? or a dirty power valve?
Change your spark plug and check or change your reeds. That’s almost always the issue. Best of luck.
RMZ is best
🔥🔥🔥
No one rides Suzuki anymore, lol.
No offense but glad I dodged that bullet. I looked at that bike and decided to stay away.
Hahaha wish I did the same😪
