I am a somewhat beginner at this airbrushing game and have been watching many different videos by a few different artists but I have to say that you seem to be the most informative artist I've followed. Thank you for this video. It answered some questions of mine for sure. Please keep them coming.
Finally we got the different lines explained simply "...for dummies"! Tnx mate... I had so much questions about createx lines and what to go for, and you just hit 'em all in 8min!
sorry for the noob question, but wich createx color would be best for miniature painting....iam new to airbrushing and i hope u can help me...peace out. great channel
Im not sure how they are transfering the colors, thats a question for Createx themselves. I wish youtube would let you tag channels in the comments so they could see this.
ive had to give up on trying to use the Createx paints that ive bought at Hobby Lobby for model car building. I've watched and tried every way that Createx says to use their paints to paint my model cars and have never been able to get it to work right. Ive been airbrushing model cars for a long time with every other type of paint and have never had any real problems. I love how Createx (Wicked) paints look on the things ive ssen them used on buy i guess theyre just not for me.
Hi! I’ve learned a lot of my basics from you :) I pick up a lot from what ur saying. The issue i have is running at 40psi straight from the bottle. I have a badger omni 3000 with the .5 needle. I always have trouble with the airbrush spraying straight out of the bottle. Maybe it’s because im using the opaque line and not the wicked? Says it’s supposed to he milky consistency but straight out of the bottle, the opaque black is not so i thin a lot. Feels like im doing something wrong! Thanks in advance!
Hello Mike. Have you considered using jacquard airbrush paint for shirts. I find they work work equally as well as createx and you get more in the bottle.
Hey whats up... The candy 2.0....... 4011 better than 4012 bcs its sower but then you should also still use the 4011 with your white or silver being youll be spraying those base colors over the candy correct? Im referring to (reverse) painting, like painting the rc car bodies from the inside. Have you ever used the autoborn clear sealer instead of the bleed checker? I ordered just about eeeeverythig I need to cancel out any discrepancy but im here for the questions lol
Question. This may sound like stupid question, can I buy transparent primary colors, blue, yellow and red and mix them to make different colors and have still be transparent?
Usually Opaque white and black and transparent colors. THO Opaque colors can help ALOT on black shirts. You still lay a white base but when you spray the opaque over it will be alot brighter than trying to do it with transparents, just a tip.
@@MikesBrush thank you so much keep up the great work I learned a lot and got more motivated. I'm born and raised in San Diego California but now live on the islands of Hawaii, Maui is the island and there isn't any airbrush community here so your videos help. Thanks
So spent like $100 in paint for each different substrate. The little bottles are like 6 bucks each. Only 300 bucks and i can paint on paper and shirts what a deal.
LMAO I can easily go through $300 of paint in a weekend(sat and sun) doing tshirts at the market spot... like with anything in life, if you want quality, it costs more. tho in my opinion createx is some of the best bargain/value paint. There is paint that cost 3x as much and does half as much. And when I started airbrushing I did it by only using 2 of the createx starter packs so... 🤷♂️ 🤣😂😂🤣😂 dont even get me started on automotive paint man... LMAO
I cant get this crap to flow even out my bighest needle .5 at 60lbs it clogs every airbrush i own i habe 10 bottles just doesnt flow until its so thin it spiders out my .2 it wont even flow at all no matter what

GREAT wrap-up, Mike! Question regarding the Candy 2o system: will the Auto-Air Gloss Black 4258 be going away or be renamed?
Im not sure how they are transfering the colors, thats a question for Createx themselves. I wish youtube would let you tag channels in the comments so they could see this.
Nice job. Thanks
