I love DIO and Kira for very different reasons. DIO is that petty, classic anime villain who will trash talk the Protagonist to the grave(quite literally in his case). DIO had a very powerful stand. And had he not been stopped, he could've became a really serious problem with his time stop. But Kira's stand is more about being quick and being quiet. Being untraceable. It also means that if he's stuck in a prolonged fight with a strong stand user, he can get caught slipping. And I like that. He gets humbled but uses his wit and intellect to escape the situation and not leave any evidence behind. Basically making them have to restart from zero. With DIO, it was mostly just about approaching the goal. With Kira, we got to the point we thought the goal was. But this was actually just a checkpoint and the real goal is still several hundred miles away.

What's amazing about Part 4 is something that Rob and Pat both hit on. This IS a suspense thriller type story and it's incredibly different from most other stories of this genre because the author chose to reveal the killer early on in the series to build up how much of a threat he was. Then after doing that build up, he reset it all and now they are back to the suspense of having no clues as to the killer's whereabouts or identity anymore. Top tier writing.
Pat mentioned this episode was wild....bro trust me, it gets even better onwards. Hirohiko Araki knows how to write a villain. Each season that has been released the villains become much more minacious

I'm glad these guys are so into Part 4 so far. Diamond Is Unbreakable is my favorite part and Kira is easily my favorite villain.
