Nice vid bro, looks sweet now interior wise. Cheers for the massive shout out again. I actually had the same sort of problem with a set of rear indicators, had to go back to standard. Safe driving pal 👌
Hi bud, I've been having trouble when fitting my led boot release button on my mk6 fiesta, can you let me know exactly what wiring you spliced into to give it the power? And give me the link for the one you bought. Cheers much appreciated, Tom
So do you just splice the wires into the existing wires that are there for the original boot release button, or is it connected up to the light switch below in order to give it power?
I think you should of still gotten the autobeam bulbs. Their performance bulbs you'll be shocked by the difference. Yeah they are a little steep on price but you get good warranty which has helped me in some cases and helped me get money towards getting their better bulbs. One nice tip I want to give you is search up autobeam on ebay. They sell on there and funnily its free delivery and no tax is added so you'd save around £7 buying their bulbs from them via eBay than buying from their website 😂. You still get warranty also getting it from ebay
@@R23OWL an example I can give is recently I got a refund for their standard range rear brake / sidelight as one was going wrong. I was looking at their performance range brake lights to replace those. These are £25 however it's £31 when tax and delivery is added on their website. On ebay your getting it for £25 with free delivery and no tax added plus with warranty. Autobeam sometimes are crafty as they bump the price up on some of their stuff. Just drove for the first time with those bulbs in the night and honestly these are that bright at the sidelight brightness that I could see the road sign behind me still lit up by the bulbs at like a 4 house length 😃
Nice video mate... glad I was so helpful 😏 Defiantly will have to get some of those bulbs!! Would it be worth doing the top brake light too? Not sure what bulb they are though
I believe the high level brake light bulb is the same fitting as the reverse light. That push in one. Had to change that bulb as mine stopped working. I'd say upgrade that to LED as on mine the halogen bulb doesn't keep up in lighting up compared to the LEDs I put in on the tail lights.
@@matts_st7107 are they like the old style bulbs which when they flash it's like a fade or are they full on LED where it's 100% on then 100% off with no fading? Of that makes sense 😂
@@matts_st7107 yeah man that's what I meant haha so they are LED ones the autobeam... Everyone keeps telling me to just get them, might have to finally cave in soon haha must be worth the money
R23 OWL ive got the side 501 bulbs rear brake and rear and front indicators and bright white number plate lights amd interior lights and just bought 4D number plates and they look mad 35 pound on ebay
Don't fit LED bulbs then, they are illegal if the car wasn't factory fitted with them ? ..... Loads of problems, loads of faults, loads of errors, loads of ball-ache changing them back - and you will blind and dazzle every other poor fucker coming the other way !!

Thanks man 👍🏻 yeah turns out ya need resistors for it lol

I've got stock indicator bulbs in mine pretty new and their the brightest of the lot and I have no problems so best just leave them as is
I've had to go back to em haha
have you got a link to the website where you got the lights from?
I've been looking into these lights. How does the rear tail light work in conjunction with the brake light? Seeing as they operate from the same bulb
So do you just splice the wires into the existing wires that are there for the original boot release button, or is it connected up to the light switch below in order to give it power?
Light switch below if I remember rightly, pretty sure it's in the video

Didn't know they sold them on eBay too! If it's cheaper I might just have to bite the bullet and give em a go

You just needed a resister for the rear leds, eBay sell them. "Mk6 fiesta led indicator resisters"

Get the AutoBeam indicator bulbs, they're with resistor build in.

@@R23OWL had no issues with them. Have them for over 6 months now. Front and rear
