People don't realize how much it costs to feed a family especially if you don't eat out. We all grew up eating this food and we turned out just fine. Great haul!
Carrie Walker that's nothing lol food costs here in Canada are so high. If you ever come here you will see. We pay at around 6 dollars for a gallon of milk here. It never goes on sale because it is government regulated and eggs for a dozen of just regular eggs is 3.99. 6 if you want free run. Meat is atrociously priced. A family size pack of ground beef is around 25 dollars here.
carley schaffer I live right across the border from Canada and have my whole life. I know costs are higher than the states. Groceries have gotten way out of control cost wise, but it's still cheaper than eating out.
Who cares what haters say, they don't pay your bills so whatever, don't worry, we love your Hauls!!!! If you can do videos of the food that you're preparing will be amazing, hugs!!😜
New sunny here! You are a young family and you do what you need to do! I say until they are buying your groceries for you, then what they think is irrelevant. Congrats on the new baby!
THANK YOU! I'm so sick of watching all these people only esting all organic. I'm a mom of two young girls and sometimes I find myself getting insecure than I realize efffff that! Thanks for being real!
I love your grocery haul! I could eat at your house and be happy. It is just hubby and me now and we still do a big haul once a month. We always have to have things we like and forget if it is healthy or not. Eating should be fun!
Finally finally finally!!!...I found a channel that's makes REAL GROCERIES!!! 😆 I loved this haul! Congrats on the baby! Gatorade does help with lactation as well as the cookies. Plain oatmeal made with steel cut oats works too. New subby on deck 🙌🏽
I don't think your food choices are horrible, but the point is they are *"YOUR"* choices! Geez Louise! Hey I'm gonna come back with a link to a video where a girl was giving great advice about to lactating moms.
I already felt bad that you felt as if you needed to justify what you bought but yet come to read the comments and people still feel the need to say something. Just keep doing you momma, you're an awesome mom and know what's best for your family!
No hate from me, you have a family to feed, and you know what your family likes. If anyone who hates has such a negative opinion maybe they should stop being so judgmental and worry about what's in their own pantry. I'll be going grocery shopping tomorrow(I had coupons to clip from this week's sales paper). I live in Tennessee, and I wish we had a HEB here. We have Kroger, Aldi, Wal-Mart, Target, Save A Lot, and a few other places. Great haul Melissa!!!
first, congrats on your new little blessing!! you are doing great with most likely very little sleep!!! no one shops perfectly and everyone has an idea of what they think is perfect so dont even sweat it! stay blessed!!!!
Welcome to the world of three girls. I have nothing bad to say about your haul. You do what you have to do for your family. Congratulations on the baby.
who cares what anyone says! do your thing mama... you feed and take care of your kids and that is the most important thing.... kisses from a small Mediterranean island Cyprus...
Have you tried fenugreek? It is awesome, it comes as an additive or a tea or tablets also seen as a sprinkle at health stores to add to yoghurt or cereal.
People are hating how u don't eat healthy you have whole wheat pasta and dark chocolate is good for u and oats are good for u and there is more healthy foods you are doing good as a mom
this is my first time watching your house and I really like them because it's normal it's like my household it's what we eat and it tells me a lot different that you can make with recipes and stuff like I didn't know HEB has a lot of different cells and stuff and that's good thank you
its myfirst haul of yours ive seen. youve done really well with your deals and range ofgoods got. Dont worry about the people wh9 dont like what you buy they ars not eating it. keep going and congrats on your baby xx
I think you did an absolutely FABULOUS job, I'm amazed that you were able to accomplish this given that you had just given birth only 2 weeks prior to doing this video!! Good job Mom! Congratulations on the new little angel too!
that was a great haul, I'm a first time watcher and I love it when people show what they need to feed their families. Who cares what people think of I'd just ignore them. I wish I could spend what you spend on groceries and wish I could know how to use coupons like you do. thanks for your videos. hugs
Congratulations on the birth of your little one. Don't worry what other people think. You have quite a bit of healthy food there and considering you have a newborn, you gotta have some easy meals because newborns are exhausting!! I would love to be able to buy some easy style meals but I have a tonne of allergies, so am limited in my choices. Best wishes for you and your family.
I live in New Zealand and I still love to see your food hauls even though some of your food items are different then what we have here, we have a lovely American store in Auckland and I always enjoy trying your food👍👍
After my daughter was born I lived on turkey sandwiches and Pringles. I judge no new mom. first weeks are exhausting and your doing it with 2 little girl
Very nice shopping haul!!! I wouldn't have picked some of the things you did but I only have myself and hubby! We do eat out a lot but I am trying hard to plan our meals and shop accordingly. Also we eat differently.
Girl u have a beautiful family and I can certainly understand u buying a lot of quick meals like that.. I love those yakisoba noodles also!!!! We get ours here at this H. E. B in Houston.. I love our HEB..
I shop at HEB too and your haul looks exactly like mine. I need to try going once a month though. I breast feed also my son is 5 months and what helps my supply is putting the flax seed in yogurt, cereal & etc.
Thanks so much for sharing. I'm Australian and love watching overseas hauls, everything is so different and if it's not, you call it something different. Subscribing now, thanks again for sharing. Xx
The best thing to assist lactation is drinking plain old water. Be careful with things like Gatorade, they're loaded with sodium, sugars and electrolytes and are not meant to be guzzled as it were. Also lots of green leafy vegetables with a high water content; lettuce, salad greens etc are also good to eat to get more fluid. Remember that whatever you're eating and drinking are passing to baby so you don't really want to be loading up on junk calories like Gatorade.
A lot of people are commenting saying how this is a lot of food and unhealthy, and while a lot of it is unhealthy, you just had a baby for crying out loud! Your body is still healing as well as making milk, and you need all the help you can get with this quick meals. Also, I think a lot of people forget how much food it takes to feed a family when you aren’t eating out two-three times a week, getting Starbucks every morning, kids eating school breakfast and lunches, and stopping by the convenience store/vending machine for snacks. My husband and I go out to eat about once or MAYBE twice a month, other than that, everything is made at home. 3 meals per day + coffee, snacks, desserts, homemade beverages, bread, yogurt, etc for a month is well over 100 meals! You also have another adult in the house with food preferences that you have to take into consideration. So while we may disagree on some of the food choices, this is still much healthier and cheaper than going out to eat two-three times a week :)
Nice haul!! Goodness gracious if people think your hauls are bad I'd hate for them to see mine LOL. I love triscuits too! You should try the smoked gouda ones...yum!!
first video i see from you and i love how you are the first person ffrom the usa that doesnt buy 1banana, 1 pear etc etc etc,im peruvian and i loved this :3
I love your videos no matter what you do,There is going to be someone who is negative,Those are your choices for you and your family and what matters is that your Enjoying it,And Congratulations on your Baby...
How much was your total? I don't have one issue with how much anyone spends! If anything, I am thankful to see families that are able to get what they need and want. I also have raised my own two kids, and look now with awe how much parents will spend to give their kids either all organics or a mixture of excellence in nutritional meals and or snacks! When I see someone coming out of the check stands with huge hauls, as a shopper myself, I'm not bashful to admit here, I want to know what they got and how much first. My second thought is --will their spouse be upset with them for spending too much? : )
your food choices were mostly healthy idk what people were griping about . you made great choices for food. im going to become a subscriber so i can see how you cook some of you meals.
there's always going to be people who hate on what you eat. nobody is perfect lol. I love your hauls since I shop at HEB once a month. Super sad I missed out on the book/tea/chips deal. I saw the books last time I was there but they weren't on sale haha.
I love watching your grocery hauls. What are hamburgers helpers? We don't have as many options in Australia as in the States. The grocery stores are huge! We are dairy and wheat free in my household as both my boys have allergies. We shop weekly as I find fresh produce doesn't last long. Do you have to top up throughout the month on fruit, veg and milk?
Hamburger Helper is like a boxed dry pasta dish (so the dried noodles that you boil in water and then the flavoring seasonings packet) and you add beef, hence the "hamburger" in the name, and milk to the cooked pasta and flavoring, and they have various flavors like she showed! :)
Jen Life we have hamburger helper here in Australia, it's a staple in my house. I use it in my meatloaf & my meatballs. It is expensive though, I bought some on sale last week, but usually they sell for $4 at my Woolworths. The only difference between ours and the states is that there's is like a pasta dish & here in Australia it's like a herb so it is kept in the same aisle as herbs & gravy etc.
I think it's so funny when I watch grocery hauls (I watch multiple a week) and every single video has comments about how unhealthy the food is. Like who the hell cares if the food someone else is buying is "unhealthy"?!? Gosh people are annoying as hell lol
lol my crazy rule of thumb 80% 20% weather it is fresh frozen canned organic natural ect or a mix and 20% not healthy lol. does not take into account allergies dietary restrictions and tolerances
People don't realize how much it costs to feed a family especially if you don't eat out. We all grew up eating this food and we turned out just fine. Great haul!
Carrie Walker amen! We spend on a family of 5 only 1 do t eat regular food cause he is too little, but we spend around 180-250 on groceries a week
Carrie Walker that's nothing lol food costs here in Canada are so high. If you ever come here you will see. We pay at around 6 dollars for a gallon of milk here. Carrie Walker wow that's crazy I had no idea food cost so much
we spend a lot to feed 9 people including 2 kids and a teen
So many families literally go out to eat every night. Even a lot of TH-cam families. I'm glad your feeding your kids home cooked meals
I will never understand people who get upset about other people's groceries, and proceed to watch them anyway.
Forgot to mention, Congratulations on your new baby girl 💐. You have a beautiful family xx
On to the worst part, putting it all away!

Who cares what haters say, they don't pay your bills so whatever, don't worry, we love your Hauls!!!! If you can do videos of the food that you're preparing will be amazing, hugs!!😜

Thanks for being real!
I kno!! I always think I kno their kids throw their food away or switch with other kids. Lol I like her shopping it realistic
I love your grocery haul! I could eat at your house and be happy. It is just hubby and me now and we still do a big haul once a month. We always have to have things we like and forget if it is healthy or not. Eating should be fun!

Love your rings! I've got the exact same ones :0)
I am obsessed with that chopped BBQ salad!
