I have the same style of camper but never worried about keeping it cool. The tent on top keeps the sun off so I’ve just left it at that. See run a freezer in the back no problems, our fridge is inside the cab.

Unreal video man! You explained a heap, very helpful. I’ve been tossing up for ages which vent to go as well and was going to go the same vent as yours the only thing that made me second guess it was I heard if for whatever reason your door seal’s crack or bugger up apparently dust can get suck into your canopy via the damaged door seals.. so still unsure what to do there👍 thought maybe a small scupper vent but not sure👍 do you find the location of your vent good there? I thought if I did mine I’d have it closer to the front of the canopy, thoughts?

Hey mate, would you do the Muller vent again, has any water got in when driving in heavy rain, and have you tested it in dusty conditions?

hey mate, Yes I definitely would do it again. We have been in some absolutely torrential rain and extremely dusty conditions and it has been completely fine. I don't even think about it now when driving in rain or dust. I cant tell you if it is super effective at cooling the canopy, but coupled with insulation, it has worked for us. At the least it is an escape for any warm air that builds up.

@@Seaustravl cheers, good to know, apparently it also helps pull the canopy doors in against the seals as it creates a negative pressure inside. Hidrive canopies use them and they reckon it would be impossible to open the canopy doors while moving due to the negative pressure.
