I am losing motivation towards my studies. I've been going through lots of losses in my family maybe that's contributing too. I am a bit behind with my thesis I just cannot concentrate.
me too, hang in there.. it doesnt have to be perfect, remember your end goal and belive it would get better (thats how i convince myself.. the motivation from first year is nowhere to be found lol )

This is because the Swedish Migration Agency already need proof that you have enough money for tuition and daily living expenses in your account in order to be granted a visa: www.migrationsverket.se/English/Private-individuals/Studying-and-researching-in-Sweden/Higher-education/Residence-permit-for-higher-education.html Likewise, it is not guaranteed that a part-time job will be available, as many jobs require fluent Swedish as well as English. So .. is it possible to finish the entire work in a month an a half ? XD I received my project 3 weeks ago and honestly, all I did was reading books and articles ! I didn't write a single word and I still have an experiment + a numerical simulation to do ... I think I'm doomed 😑 fck my life !!
Fari! It's ok, you can do it! It's also good to check if there is possibility for an extension/another submission date if you feel that you want to have a bit more time with your project. If there isn't and/or you want to get it done with now, I would really recommend just getting some words down on the page. When I was writing my MA thesis, I tried to make the morning about writing, break for lunch and have a long walk, and return to reading and note-taking in the afternoon. I'd really recommend the Pomodoro technique for great focus and scheduled breaks, all your note-taking in one space, writing out ideas and formulas on post-it notes and sticking them to your wall to visualise any problems you're having. And lots of sleep, rest and walks in the sunshine. You can do it! & do remember to talk to your student councillor, advisors and student support services at your university if you're feeling a bit overwhelmed at any point. I certainly did and they were all very encouraging. It's completely natural to feel overwhelmed by it - but you can do it! Sending you lots of luck / Emma, Study in Sweden
