it's nice that they've come out with an upgraded v2 but they still have brushed motors so did volantex finally add access to be able to change the motor without having to cut the plane in half like you do with the v1's???
I got a Corsair recently and today it was my 2nd time ever flying an rc plane ahaha it is nice but kinda scary. I'm afraid it will go out of range and fly away. I want these new versions but cannot find them. Mine is painted like the version 1 but has the landing gear mechanism like this one 🤔
Does the Zorro 4 in 1 transmiter work on these mini warbirds also? I've had a couple of range/signal related scares with my F4U Corsair (version 1) with the stock transmiter. The TX16S is a little out of my budget for now so the Zorro seems to be a good option
I believe that both the new v2 P-51 and the new v2 Corsair have the added features. 1 poster on the RCGroups forums thread on the P-51 states that his just-received P-51 DOES have those telemetry features. It also has the pop-out panels for changing the motors and control board which can be seen on this at about 2:48. All nice updates.

Nice Flight & a beautiful War Bird . My 1st Flyer back in 1970 & it was a ukie from Cox & not as durable but always rebuildable .

I always take my wheels off. My OCD cant get my mind off of all the extra drag the wheels put on the airframe

they are surprisingly very easy to fly due to the xpilot stabilization system. they are like hands free :) almost

Is the motor shaft angled down on yours? Also how is the CG? Mine is angled down and is statically tail heavy even with the battery.
yes motor / prop is angled. CG balances right

I did not pay attention to that. for me, i keep track of time, feel the throttle and plane power and land in time
