  • This good looking and ready to fly fighter plane is a ton of fun for intermediate and above fliers. Find it here and use coupon code BG20cfc2 for 10 dollars off (exp 7/31/23) usa.banggood.c.... Fast and maneuverable, it can be flown fully gyro stabilized while still allowing stunt aerobatics. If you get into trouble in a stunt, just let go of the sticks and the plane will quickly and automatically level itself.
and here are some more WWII warbirds from Eachine/Volantex:
Find the P-51D V2 Mini Mustang here ban.ggood.vip/...
Find the P-51D V1 Mini Mustang here bit.ly/MustangP51D
    Find the Spitfire here bit.ly/Eachine...
Find the BF-109 Messerschmitt here bit.ly/BF109Me...
Find the F4U Corsair here bit.ly/F4UMini...
and here are some more neat planes from Eachine/Volantex (not WWII):
    Eachine Mini F-22 Raptor bit.ly/MiniF22...
    Eachine Mini T-28 Trojan bit.ly/Eachine...
    Eachine Mini F-16 Falcon bit.ly/MiniF16...
    Pros
    - Very good looking aircraft in paint scheme and details. Includes a clear cockpit with pilot cutout inside.
    - Ready to fly plane with included transmitter.
    - True four channel airplane with throttle, elevator, rudder, and aileron control.
    - Constructed of flexible and crash resistant EPP foam.
    - Plenty of power from its 1020 brushed motor.
    - Comes with two 2 bladed and two 3 bladed propellers.
    - Three selectable flight modes. Beginner mode includes full 6 axis stabilization (3 axis gyro and 3 axis accelerometer). Also includes angle restrictions that prevent the aircraft rolling or pitching over. Intermediate "Midd" mode also includes 6 axis stabilization, but turns off pitch angle restrictions to allow aerobatic stunts. Expert mode turns off all stabilization for fully aerobatic manual flying.
    - Controller also includes a stunt button that allows the airplane to automatically conduct loops and aileron rolls.
    - NEW Auto Takeoff feature enables the aircraft to automatically climb to a safe altitude, and then circle until the pilot is comfortable and ready to take control of the plane with the pitch/roll stick.
    - One key return feature will automatically fly the plane in the opposite direction that it was pointed at takeoff.
    - Quick disconnect propeller saver automatically disconnects the propeller in a crash to prevent propeller or motor damage. Propeller can be quickly reattached after the crash to continue flying.
    - Very efficient flier. It's 3.7V 400mah battery can provides up to 15 minutes of flight time (I got over 8 minutes on a very windy day).
    - Can be flown with multi-protocol transmitters using V761 protocol. I demonstrate such in the above video.
    Cons
    - Brushed motor airplane. Its motor will eventually fail some day. Strongly recommend allowing 15 minutes motor cool down between flights to improve motor longevity.
    - It's a bit heavier at 66 grams than its 55 grams predecessor. This is mainly due to the heavy use of paint (although it looks good).
    - I didn't get the full 15 minutes of flight time. This is likely due to the high wind I was flying it in, and the high throttle settings that I used to counter the wind.

This is a great plane to learn with. One thing to note, after about 6 or 7 times the prop comes off the connector on the plane will need to be tweeked inward, can be done with fingers very easy. just want people to know that if the prop flies of during take off tweak the mount on the plane inward with your fingers.

When you mentioned your Corsair was not flying well with the two blade prop...I was wondering if the prop needed to be balanced. We did a lot of prop balancing years ago on larger electric planes. My order of 2 small Volantex Spitfires arrived two days ago. After bench testing one of them I'm impressed with how powerful the motor is, and how the control surfaces, pushrods and trim are accurately adjusted. Got a P47 arriving tomorrow. 😹

See if you can measure the prop pitch angle on each of them. I bet the 2 bladed one has more, giving it a bigger bite of the wind. It's a lot like the thread pitch on a bolt or a screw. More angle= higher pitch= moe powah baby! The 3 blade is probably better for low speed stunt flying.

When I turn the throttle all the way down and to the left (rudder), it instantly goes into a death spiral. Yep! We generally just trim out the holes in the battery door so that both the flight board lead and the battery lead can be fed through them. Makes it SO much easier to fit the battery in and clip the door shut. Faster plugging in before sitting her on her feet and NO scrunching both leads up leading to them stuffing up pretty quickly! 😉😊

    • @Quadcopter101
      @Quadcopter101  ปีที่แล้ว

That's normal. The new version transmitters with telemetry all do that by design. That's its RSSI (Relative Signal Strength Indicator). It's a warning that the signal between the airplane and the drone is either getting weak or has been lost entirely (which it would be lost if you removed the airplane's battery). If you hear those repeating four beeps in flight, you should immediately bring the airplane closer as you're flying too far from the transmitter.

@@Quadcopter101 That's interesting information from you 2 fellahs. The last 2 V761 planes issued (the v2 versions of the P-51 and Corsair) have been the only ones that I remember seeing the sales blurb touting the telemetry for low battery and signal. Of the later releases of the Mini Warbirds with the Pop-out Service Panels we have a P-40 and a Spitfire but unfortunately the Spitfire is currently on Walkabout around Australia with its owner - so not available for testing.
It's always interesting to know exactly when the various changes have been made to the specs of our toys.
