I bought a spring and a metal bar i put a pivot on the bar and have that pull over center and stop with a bolt that hits on the side of the elevator it took a couple tries of hole adjustment to get to the sweet spot to make it loose to start and tight to turn the pulley

@@andrewpeter1158 Smaller pulley on the engine, larger pulley on the drive or both. Can also get an engine with 6 to 1 reduction.
@@andrewpeter1158 Google jack shaft for a mini bike. Conveyor is same idea but bigger chain. It works good for slowing them down.
