    Have you reviewed the

Which of those shoes has the stiffer rocker? I dont have stores near me to try these and trying to figure out which one to go for. Thanks.

    Nice video! I got a pair of the arahi 6 coming from the arahi 5s just because in the arahi 5 the back of both of my shoes was starting to tear. The tearing was with the fabric inside of the shoe where my ankle goes and it was chafing and starting to bleed so I thought its time for new shoes. I wonder if I am the only one who had them wear down there before anywhere else.

    Hi thanks for this review. I just had a Gait Analysis in store and the Arahi 5 seemed to come up best for me (need a stability shoe with good cushioning). They didn't have or mention Arahi 6 which sounds like it might add a bit more comfort. But in Black Friday deals the 5 is about £30-50 cheaper than the 6 - is there enough upgrade in the 6 for the extra price?
    Buying them for marathon training so want to make the right choice!

    What’s your recommendation for over pronation if you don’t run. I just want something for walking and working with a trainer in a gym doing multiple kinds of workout routines. I need arch support. I’ve only had arahi and the other stability shoe of theirs. I don’t run at all right now. Is there another hoka style you’d recommend or a different brand?

    • @RyansRunningReviewsYT
      @RyansRunningReviewsYT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for watching! You can but I would recommend something like an Altra shoe (Provision or Paradigm) because it's truly flat (zero drop) which is more stable. The dual density foams in stability shoes can cause imbalances when lifting since the foam is harder on one side vs the other.

    Hey I just did my first 6 mile street walk / run in a fresh new pair Arahi 6. I am experiencing a deal of pain in my left heel. Is this just adjusting to new shoe or should I return and seek a different make or model? I never experienced this in my old Brooks Adrenaline GTS but that was the first real running shoe I ever really tried.

    • @RyansRunningReviewsYT
      @RyansRunningReviewsYT  ปีที่แล้ว

      Brooks makes high drop shoes (12mm) while hokas typically have a low drop of 5mm. Could be your body adjusting as low drop puts more stress on your achilles and calves

    • @RyansRunningReviewsYT
      @RyansRunningReviewsYT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I don’t recommend training in stability shoes since they have dual density foams which are deigned for running and not lifting/training. The Hoka Kawana is probably a good option. Firmer midsole means it’s better for workouts but still has a good walking/running shoe form factor. The metcon and Nano X1/X2 are true training shoes and work well for walking too.

  • @kaylanbartlett5055

    My feet don’t overpronate but they’re on the flat side. My local shoe store did a scan and said yes I do have flat feet but they’re are not severely flat. Would you say the Arahi would be better vs the Clifton for flat feet or the Clifton?

    • @RyansRunningReviewsYT
      @RyansRunningReviewsYT  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably the Arahi just because it has more medial support. The Clifton is relatively stable too since it has such a wide base so that's not a bad option either. If you don't have a stability shoe yet go with the Arahi, if you do, I would say go with the Clifton since it's good to mix up the type of shoes you run in to prevent injury. Thaks for watching!

    • @RyansRunningReviewsYT

    I love the Hoka design but those shoes don't last more than a year of very light and moderate use (twice a week average 7k) The fabric used for the internal in the heel part last even less plus you can feel the internal stitching on the hell. Another downside is that customer service in Europe is practically non-existent. I sent them photos of the shoe a month ago which is unusable given that the fabric has detached from the sole and on the heel the fabric has holes in various parts and I didn't receive any answer.
