It's more of a Knight thing rather than Chovy. Knight has weak mentals against strong mid. He'd play Azir and Asol in LPL but only comfort pick against Chovy. He even claimed in spring season his Azir is ready yet GENG just give him Azir in game 4 but he choose to last pick Vex. It's such an LPL thing. 369 also last picked Udyr into Ksante in the last game they're playing T1. Bin is probably the only real chad lpl star player.
I can see both their points. I think IWD is right if you have a key strategy and deep champion pool. This strategy would be great for Showmaker for example because he plays literally everything. The level of this series was insanely high, this is the best series we've had at MSI. I want to see this again; it'll be interesting if we do get it to see how BLG changes their drafting for round 2. I think you have to make more effort to de-incentivize the nidalee without necessarily wasting a ban on it. Chovy's champion pool being so large makes it seem like you can't ban only him, you have to pick a couple champs (let's say Asol and Corki) and use the rest of your bans somewhere else. Really great series and I hope we get to see it again.
how the fuck did u conclude knight wasnt the issue? Just because u are a fan boy? This is legit the biggest mid gap we have seen in a long time. The jgler gap was very much facilitated by Knight and the team deciding to int the bot dive in game 2. BLG cant afford to ban anything other than mid because of his champ pool. BLG has to ban 3-5 mid champions not because they want to ban out Chovy but a lot to do with how Knight can't play Azir, Corki, Asol, Hwei, Ori. They cant even afford to give one and trade the other because HE CANT PLAY ANY OF THESE CHAMPIONS. Mid is getting hard gapped starting from the draft because our little Knight cant play any one of the meta champions well enough to avoid having to do 5 mid bans and then picking first and still getting gapped in every matchup. I think they need to take the playbook they had vs T1/Faker and drop it on canyon, get rid of asol corki first with one jungle ban and either counter pick the jungle matchup or drop 2 more bans on canyon second rotation, Xun looks FAR weaker than Canyon so you really have to make sure he's as comfortable as possible or else it'll just be game 2/3 over and over again. They acting like these ADCs are minor region level players lmfao. Peyz and elk played each other a lot last year and peyz looks good. Welcome to reality I guess.
why the fk are people hyping up elk? he's a budget uzi, ruler, viper, guma.
Just wait for rematch in finals lil bro
@@jakdvnfvniov2520 nobody cares, its obvious elk on are not head and shoulders above the world like LPL fans are bragging about the most before MSI, pipe down the cope lmfao peyz blasted him yesterday
@@Zed-ch9fg lol if only I can see the comments once again, most LPL fans are saying peyz was so shit not even top 10 etc xdd elk on would dive them 5 mins and its just over xdd
@Zed-ch9fg you have to be trolling after elk turbo gapped guma when blg shit on t1 literally just one series prior are you stupid?
What happened to rumble support?
Nahh that editor really just cooked Knight lmao
Knight getting exposed for his champion pool but this guy is just coping so hard for knight only champion knight actually looked good is taliyah and ahri this tournament
BLG are banning 4-5 mid champ every game because their midlaner cant play them and still getting gapped but this fkn idiots think Knight is good..
@@smokelingers why he got gapped so hard then is he just so bad compared to chovy
@@smokelingers still a real issue that to this fking day he can't play Azir also can't Corki either. Im praying on god a good chinese midlaner who one day has no champ pool issues
@@smokelingers didn’t he lose a game on Azir this MSI few days ago? (Might’ve rmbered wrong), point anyways is that he has been known to not play Azir for awhile I ain’t just pulling this info out of my ass bruv.
His Azir honestly ain’t great this is the first time I’m hearing he can play it until I see a good Azir game myself I ain’t believing it
@@smokelingers he didn't get gapped, he got blasted by chovy to the point he's invincible from g2-4.
Surprisingly snore winners finals but i won't complain
g2 vs tes was snore. two dog teams. this is what peak league of legends is.
@@Zed-ch9fg that series was more hype imo because it was the first time the west (G2) had beaten an eastern team in a bo5 since 2020
Really confused, we all love Chovy but how is the narrative after this series that Chovy just gapped Knight and Knight underperformed. Felt like the series came a lot down to some nice drafting from GenG and the mid matchup didnt really detirmine much. Do hope we get to see BLG GENG play again.
but he did gap him we watch the same game
hmm idk maybe because he gapped the fk out of him in cs, damage numbers, team fight presence even with blg banning out most of chovy's champions? did you see the trist vs hwei game, vex vs corki game, ori vs yone game? yeah those were not even fking close. squire got gapped hard. chovy playing like peak faker.
@@Zed-ch9fg My argument isn't that chovy didn't play insane. He's the best mid in the world right now and hes in peak form. I just didn't understand why people felt this series came down to the mid matchup.
The same way the narrative after every GenG game is Peyz and Lehends are going to get gapped. Despite playing vs Viper/Delight, Guma/Keria/ Jackey/Meiko and Elk/On, arguably the top 4 botlane's in the world and still looking solid. Never get the respect and always get the criticism.
People will push what ever narrative suits there agenda. He did get gapped though
Lost games aren't knights fault but he still got gapped aside from game1.
Biggest gap is draft and jg.
i can pull IWD ex. - am i good?xd
Lol i just realised what if Gen g lost because of support item ? 😂
In a way maybe, Lehends was definitely too squishy and was really hesitant to frontline which is why chovy got hit by the arrow.
That thumbnail. Yeah, they didn't play well.
But, considering your recent attitude in recent weeks, you just seem to want those LCK fans in your side and things like that thumbnail, it's all about it. Last time I checked, things were getting dangerous with some LCK fans.
Knight turns into Squire every international tournament. This joker cannot handle the pressure of high stakes series. Dude is the most overrated mid laner in the history of League
All of China pulling an IG it seems and worst part is Korean teams are NOT looking good. G2 could actually take it all the way.
Nope
Pfffffffffffffffff
g2 is never beating chovy if he's not choking. caps will get fisted like every other time and g2 will fizzle
least delulu EU fan. T1 and TES were expected to be beatable before the tournament even started GENG and BLG were a tier above
you dont think gen g looked good today? T1 didnt look too convincing and i can see G2 beating them but GenG looked like they are on another lvl today.
5 chinese players just can't win internationally :
Miller Helen Rodriguez Jason Brown Richard
amount of copium that dom takes is insane
god I LOVE hearing this mfer cope lets gooooooo
I hope doublelift sees this game and sees how his opinion was factually untrue.

they... just... beat T1...
@@neilpanganiban272 I watched that TL game and nothing will convince me beating T1 at this MSI is game changing.
LPL cant even win the tournament they are "good" at. Got 3-0'd by EU, and smoked 3-1. Now lets see the LPL glazers take on how MSI format is "hype" now
I'm just gonna say it. This comment is so braindead no one even wants to debate with you.
Before watching I know Chovy choked this shit
Lol
Canyon >
He in fact didn't
Not this time lol
The curse is broken till the Final
Yeah chovy choked knight so hard
what this is realistically looking like is that G2 might just take it all home
Caps is the best looking mid right now honestly he’s been on point

Lmao again with the Chovy glazing. Dude literally did close nothing first 3 games to contribute to the win and was carried by Canyon to a state where Gen G is ahead, and the narrative is "Chovy destroyed Knight". Oh please... Without Canyon and Kiin, this team would get stomped by BLG make no mistake.
Oh so you mean that without half of the team, they can't win 3v5 against lpl champs?
call it a 'chovy glazing' with 4 5 bans against him and looks at the damage graph and says he did nothing to contribute on game 3 xdd
and ignores plays he made every teamfights. Who would not be able to make a statement "without canyon and kiin this team would get stomped" like wtf is that stupid statement
anyone can say that for any team
cap lies
@@ravenjs3609 no it's not a stupid statement, it's fact. And what I mean is that he did literally nothing to change the tempo/ flow of the game. It's easy for the entire map state to be doing well and then popping off then, it's harder to be someone like Faker who has to take initiative themselves and change the rhythm of the game.
