The Jeep Gets a New 270º Awning!

Overland Vehicle Systems 270 Awning install for Ol' Gobi! This took more time than it should have largely due to my quest for a bracket I was satisfied with. The L-brackets that come with the awning are large and heavy and the U-bolts to support it were too small for my 2" tubular rack. After installing some proper bolts I really wasn't happy with them and again moved on. It was an adventure but I think I found a bracket that should work well.

I have that same awning on my Jeep and I love it. I really like the looks of the brackets you found. I may try a set of those. The way mine is mounted I feel like it sits too far out and it would be better tucked up tighter like you have yours. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah check out GZila. They're the only ones I've found that make them for regular and XL mounting-type awnings.
