The one thing I know about my man Mariano is he isn’t afraid to get massive value while strong in a highly bluffed river spot, and that’s your edge I think, and why you crush. What’s funny though is that most of your big loss hands are from people doing that to you. just something I noticed. Love the content as always

South Point ~ I stayed and played there for the first time for three days and left on the 4th. What a nice place! Very comfortable. Nice employees. And did you see all of the cowboys for the Professional Bull Riding World Finals? A cool and not a typical crowd for a casino.
Cowboy hats everywhere!
South Point is also one of the few remaining cheap places to eat in LV.
Be there on Wednesday the 10th.....getting married on Thursday..then 4 days of Poker
Southpoint and The Orleans are super underrated in terms of places to find a good game in the city 🌆

I'll disagree lived down the block from south point 99% time sucked but once in a blue moon would have 2/5 and 3/5 that we're good. Most under rated place would be Hollywood even the 1/2 game is descent most the time and if there's a 2/5 on Friday or Saturday I would leave Venetian or Bellagio and head there if the game I was at sucked
LOVE Southpoint!! Brad Owen use to play there a ton in his early vlogs so had to check it out and I have never been disappointed. 8/10

I like your play better than Rampage. Rampage seems to to be getting a little to lose and is spewing money in the big games. Needs to stay in the 5/10 10/ 20 games where he can get some of his BS plays through. Not in $50000 games where people with real money will call.

The second hand you say that that guy may have AK. It’s pretty obvious he has something really good. It’s why after he bet you check raise and he calls which makes you look super strong. Then you bet out 600 and he goes over the top all in. He isn’t bluffing. How can not put him on AK there. He took little time and you priced him in. How much can you possibly make with taxes hitting you. I would be shocked if you made over 50k a year

He folded his kings because when he all in you with his straight you had played QJ and I’m pretty sure he was thinking you had a Q because you bet pretty much the same way good on your play leading to him having a terrible read on you excellent play keeping the pressure on

You bet very small on the turn, and you checked the river (when the ace hit.)

Take my comment the same as a grain of salt but it looks like players are isolating you to take advantage. Seems the same strategy they are using with Rampage. They think they can out play you after the flop and they do. Be mindful of that.

I also like the South Point's room, agree the vib is just different. Both there and the Orleans rooms have the local vibe that you don't get at some of the strip rooms. The Orleans does get some great tournament action for under the $200 buy in each night.

To avoid players seeing your cards, i see you slide forward 2 inches then look. Maybe just lift look where your cards are set by you?

I don't reraise Ace King and I love playing them stealth mode . Reraising gives the strength of my hand away and since I'm not that much pot committed I can fold them if I don't smash the board depending on board texture....
if you played the AK hand and the A10 hand against the seat #1 villain reverse order(he folded pocket K's),
you would not have lost much on the QJh's hand when he got aggressive. STRANGE player.

Tight player raises in the small blind, pre flop you put him on AA, KK, AK, turn brings a card that brings AK to the nuts, and his action puts him on AK, you still initiate action and then stack off.
