question. i've been told by my buddies that i have a lot of tells and i was wondering what ppl do when they have a rlly good hand or even if they're trying to bluff. i tend to get antsy and i dont know what to do when someone is tanking. do you guys just stare straight ahead and keep your mouth shut or do you look at your opponent? might sound like a dumb question but i rlly want to improve this part of my game. thanks in advance for the help! love the vid clive, the drunk guy was mad annoying, well done keeping him in check!

I enjoy how you break down hands so well after the fact all while playing the way you do in the moment. Great job. I remember subscribing years ago and I wish I knew when I did subscribed. I was one of the first! Go Brad go!! Best in the business.
It's funny how things become so much more clear after the fact. In the moment, when you're sitting at the table playing, every decision is much more difficult. Sometimes when I'm back at my place editing these videos, I think more like I imagine a viewer would, that "of course the opponent has the nuts there" or something to that effect. I'm pretty good at remembering what I was thinking while I was playing and then once I'm removed from the situation I'm able to include where I may have gone wrong in certain instances. Anyway, thanks for watching for all these years. I'm hoping there are many more years to come.

I have a serious question. How do you keep grinding when you're on a serious run bad? Right now it seems like nothing I do is right. The other day I was playing. I had Q,9 clubs. Guy raises to $10 pre flop. This guy has been raising between $10-20 pre flop every hand. So I decided to call. Flop come J,J,9 rainbow. With 1 spade, heart, and club. I bet $25 to see where I stand. Guy thinks for about 30-45 seconds then raises to $100. I am thinking this guy more than likely has junk and is jut trying to buy my $25. So I move all in. The guy tanks for about 2 minutes. I'm thinking "Great. he doesn't have a J so I should be good as long as an A or a K doesnt come. Turn is Q spade, River is 2 spade. I flip my Q,9 thinking I have the best hand. The guy is just setting there looking at his cards but not flipping them over. So I start to push my stack out for the dealer to get a count (The guy has me covered.) He flips over 7, 4 of spade. He had runners for the flush.... I have felt sick to my stomach ever since and have pretty much lost my desire to keep playing the game. Because 2 weeks ago something similar happened to me as well. I can't keep my spirits up when I keep getting crushed in the worst possible ways. So what is your advice for me?

They are building a casino where I live, I haven't played any since black Friday 2011.
I did well on FT poker, so thought I would practice a little on Pokerstars with the play chips I'd won practicing before I played real money again.
It's been utterly ridiculous.
I'm constantly getting in dominating.
3 to 1, 4 to one, even 9 to 1 to win, but am barely breaking even on over 500 of these situations.
Don't even know if I want to try real again.
If I can't get in when I'm dominating and profit, what is the sense of playing?

Big fan Brad.. so last time I was in Vegas last September, I bought into the 1-3 game at Bellagio for $200, not even the max. I played for four hours and won a little under $5000. It was by far my biggest win compared to such a small buy in. About five minutes later on the walk back to my hotel at the Paris I was mugged and robbed of all of my cash. It seemed like they know exactly which pocket my cash was in. Has anything like that ever happened to you in Vegas?

I love your vlogs, I learned a lot and am using some of your tricks at the casions in my country. However, during your K clubs/J spades hand, you kept saying your K of clubs flush is the best hand possible, when it's not. 2/4 of clubs would have had a stright flush. I now that's borderline impossible for the opponent to have, but still.
Congrats 👏 👏 👏 exciting news for all of you guys! Had a suggestion for a new location. TCH went to Dallas which is great but I'm not aware of a club on the Fort Worth side on this level. There should be plenty of places off 35W near the southern edge of Fort Worth where a location could be developed and plenty of interest to keep the tables full. Brad I messaged u a few months ago about tightening up a few leaks In your game Like betting rivers for thin value when the River card pairs the board or completes the flush and your opponent check and u bet for value when the River card doesn’t improve your hand. And u get jammed on. Still feel like your Making loose calls and playing bad starting hands just for the vlog. We would rather see u just win and play perfect poker then watch u try to make things happen with crappy cards and get yourself trapped up We’re all rooting for u to make the most u can. Remember that.

Hey Brad. Loving the content here in the UK. I'm about to turn 16 and looking to improve my poker so that I can play at a good level once I'm 18. Do you have any advice of where to learn / train under 18? I find it tough because playing without actual money isn't the same at all, people play differently, but at the same time nowhere will let me play properly.

I know you verbalize it at the beginning of the hand but I am 74/years old and can’t remember your position by the end of the hand. I also cannot usually remember what I had for breakfast!!
Actually on the first hand when the 3 of clubs hit the felt u DID NOT turn the nuts b/c 2,4 of clubs would’ve drilled the str8 flush. Unlikely yes, but I’ve seen far more unlikely shit happen virtually & in person!
