@@thingsended he fished his way there, calling big bets first with a gutshot then pot size with the dummy straight draw. Mariano’s never shoving like that with worse value on river. He shoved thinking either villain was weak and wasn’t gonna call anything or had something like what he had
Dude gets more hands in one session that other people get in a month. I placed 70 hours a month and can’t remember the last time I set overset someone and he does that and straight over straight in one session. Good shit man
I played over 700 hours in 2019 and only won a set over set one time.
Just this past month I had people hit set over set on me about 5 times. I did t set over set anyone in that time but still up on the month.
How’s Rampage have more subs than this guy lol. I like both but Mariano on another level

Rampage started creating vlogs first I believe and then started featuring Mariano on his channel quite a bit. Rampage page is dope but I find myself coming to Mariano a little more now because his videos improve my gameplay. Mariano’s continuation betting and sizing shows confidence and aggression which is needed in the nitty / splashy 1/2 games I play. Sometimes they play like 2/5 games and I always buy in $150-$200 so when that happens I have to shove a lot. Which y’all know how that goes

Very much digging the intro b-roll with the narrow depth-of-field scenes. It just looks so much more professional than what you get by just aiming a smartphone or camera at a scene. And I know, for sure, that there's a button on both smartphones and cameras that says "shallow depth of field, please". But I haven't found it (nor looked for it, to be fair). So this looks really cool to me.

I've been grinding online for the last 2 months, it's truly incredible how much different live play is compared to online play.

That’s because when you play online, best believe there are people multi accounting and they know more whole cards than you. For example, PLO5, it’s your 5 vs somebody else’s 10.
@@christopherwells2787 the difference is online a lot of people won't even 3 bet ak and live people will 3 bet all kind of hands. The trick is to figure out who all the nits are, they rely on new players not knowing they fold 90 to 95% of hands. It's just a completely different beast, I love playing live I play online simply because it's convenient since there isn't many live games where I live.

After villain showed K/10s post-bluff, he was destined to get felted by the great Mariano! You must recognize you are Garrett to the field at these stakes, what’s crazy is I’m positive you would hold your own against Garrett and company. Another great session, keep crushing bro!
he played on stream with Garrett a week or 2 ago! he did indeed hold his own - Rampage on the other hand lost $150,000 😅
@@mhyrr999 yeah I watched both streams. I was just implying I think he could be profitable playing in those lineups consistently. I felt bad for Rampage but he took it really well, he won $53k for first just before or after this stream in a wsop circuit ring event online I also saw he was heads up with the chip lead in an online $320 event today with $27k up top. I’m sure he will bounce back and learn from it. Mariano on the other hand just seems in his element in every single game/lineup he plays at any stakes. He’s also Garretteske in the fact he buys in deep every time and manages spots really well and gets the max.
@@mhyrr999 Good point. The downfall for Rampage started when he started to play with Mariano, Stakes are above his level. He is a great vlogger and not a bad player but not good and disciplined enough to play at that level.
Lol don't stroke his ego and change his entire life & bankroll, Mariano just not ready or going to be playing 200-400 against Garrett. If he does, hope variance goes his way! 😂
@@blakeengland7784 if my honest opinion based on watching all his vlogs equates to “stroking his ego” in your eyes, so be it. That fact that you believe my opinion on a TH-cam video will change his approach to bankroll management or his “life” as you put it is a compliment. However I don’t think it hold any weight with Mariano. Also I didn’t suggest he play Garrett heads up, I suggested he could be profitable playing in the games Garrett plays in. Garrett usually plays 100/200(w200bb ante) mainly bc people don’t want to play higher than that @hustler, Mariano has had only winning sessions when he plays high stakes. If you actually watch his content you’d be aware he’s the shark in most games he plays in(excluding when he plays really high stakes which we’ve determined he’s profitable and comfortable in anyways)
Would love you to do a video on what it takes you to get to this level. I remember watching you from the beginning and been watching ever since.

I think a small bet to induce is also valid on the KQ hand and either way he gets cooled with 87 and he's always jamming rivers with his hand regardless. The value bet with 5's was pure class! Great play and good luck on the Hustler stream!

That dummy straight vs. nut straight happened at my poker league a couple of weeks ago. At my table, there was a 3, a 4, and a 5 on the board. On the river, one guy announced an all in, somebody else in the hand took a couple of minutes to decide on either a call or a fold. He then decides to call, putting himself all in. The first guy turns over 7-6, and the caller had A-2, which knocked him out of the game that week.
Lol @ the guy with the 87o when he said OMG he got there. Dude he had the best hand the whole time.

Fantastic bet sizing on the final hand. Just enough to seem like it could be a bluff without being just too high for them to hero.

in the straight over straight hand - you were gonna make the maximum after the river no matter what, but i really liked your thought process in why you decided to shove. solid stuff!
Not necessarily. A good player would’ve just called a smaller bet, or bet folded, raised/folded (if stacks are deep enough). so a shove was necessary. Then again, a good player doesn’t get to the river in that fashion, and against that guy yes stacks going in
