Anakee 3 on my 1200 GSA are not that great on wet tarmac (e.g. imprecise/slippery front) , I was hoping the Adventures maybe better. And Revzilla reviews of these two tyres give more Grip to the adventure. Why you say the same beats me :-)
Because Rezvzilla might not have the ultimate truth… and the difference might be négligeable. I had a good experience with Anakee 3, including in downpours, that said I had a VStrom 1000 at the time. Different bike, different suspension, all make a difference… if one can truly feel the difference.
@@MobMoto l like the anakee 3 as well but they have stopped importing them to Australia so they've been replaced with the anakee adventure. A good combination is Anakee adventure rear and a wild on the front seems to if you want to swap tyre patterns. I noticed your Klim jacket which one is it and some feedback back would be appreciated it's coming upto winter here soon so I was thinking about Klim not cheap either
@@Thomo_qld I agree the adventure is a better version of the anakee 3. The front tire idea makes sense, I dont care for the front off-road, but how does it fare on the road with the wild front? Its the Merrakesh jacket by klim, its a summer jacket, but I wear it all year round and just layer up. I dont like the heavy all-weather gear, as I live in the desert. Thanks for the comments mate, cheers and stary safe down there.
Helpful down to earth commentary. Helpful review.
I'm switching to the Anakee Adventure on my 2022 r1250gs, as the current Karro 3's are useless on the highway-noisy, wobbly, bumpy.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
What do you think about Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2?
I liked it as far as 80/20 street tires go.

Wooooww excellent video tks, helped me choose my new tire! 👍✌️
Wilds are 50/50
yup, probably do a 50/50 next, the mitas E07+ or the Anakee wilds.

@@MobMoto wilds are good on road I've always had Michelin tyres having a wild on the front helps stop the front from washing out in the lose stuff
@@Thomo_qld How is hard braking with wild on front compared to adventures od 3s?
Am I the only on who see “St Anky” when I see the name of this tire? From Super Troopers?
terrible sound, talk with helmet ON, bad idea
these are the worst tire for motor. hundrad of tiny holes in the tire after 20000km. you could pot some sope water to check for it.
Anakee 3?
