    I am impressed with this wonderful horse food production…it is so pure. I wish this level of perfection was available in American horse products.( And Jess and the German gentleman speak such good English!)

      I agree, the US is so far behind European standards for horse feed & products... and for Human food! As a US citizen I wish we had European Food (quality) standards. Ours are horribly low, geared only for profit & shareholders & it needs to change for human & all animal feed, ASAP. **The AAFCO seal on pet food is actually THE BARE MINIMUM to prevent your animal from becoming very ill - yet they tout it as a lofty, high standard. That's a bunch of BS.

      @isabeld2879 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@mdee860 Completely agree, I spend a lot of time in Dublin with family and the difference between food quality for horses is staggering. It is near impossible, if not so, to find feed of this quality for horses in the US as everything is filled with molasses, corn, or simple grains. The feeds that I have found that are of good quality here are extremely expensive and often out of stock. This is all from Ocala, FL, arguably the most horse dense area in the US aside from Kentucky.

    • @mdee860
      @mdee860 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@isabeld2879 - It is because women have not yet learned to band together, with the power of our purses ($$$) & DEMAND change. Men are only too happy to watch women "cat fight" & tear each down because then we're not demanding things like better food quality standards, same price for shirts at a dry cleaner, and minor things like EQUAL PAY! There is a total rip-off mentality around horse products because they just think they can - like a luxury tax. Aaaargh. 🤯 OK, I'll get off my soap box now 😁🤣😄

    • @hummingbird_chirps8520
      @hummingbird_chirps8520 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@isabeld2879 Arguably, the States of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming have a denser population of horses than Florida or Kentucky. Just counting the protected wild horses on the Yakima Reservation in WA State is 5,000+... 🙄

    • @isabeld2879
      @isabeld2879 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@hummingbird_chirps8520 Perhaps it wasn’t clear enough but, we were discussing domesticated horses and that is what I was referring to in regards to density. Wild horses on the ranges obviously aren’t supplemented with feed and are quite irrelevant to the point due to that fact.

    Thanks Jesse that was unexpectedly much more interesting to watch than I thought a program on feeds would be. I learned a lot and you interviewed Mr Becker very intelligently. I particularly like seeing the field which is really not a field but a genuine meadow with a mix of grasses and other nutritious plants. It takes years to get the right mix growing and then keep it year by year.

    Interesting video, Jesse! AGROBS manufactures their products with a lot of grasses and herbs growing in regional farms. Great! The short production process is very important too. Less is more! Thank you AGROBS for making horses happy with natural and healthy food. And thanks to Jesse for his interesting german trip. Love to you and all the babies 🐴 🐕🐓🐥💙

    That was so interesting and informative and how a quality feed company makes their products.
    What interested me the most was the field grasses and herbs from which their pellets /nuts were made. Emphasis on grass and herbs selectively grown .
    Over here Devon UK there are still pastures of old herbage, on this type of grass, you will see dandelion leaves, fine clover, wild mint , both types of plantain, wild peas in flower ,they are high in protein [ I gave armfuls of wild peas in flower to my horse many years ago came out in lumps all over ,vet said it was protein bumps ] .many different kinds of grasses and many more herbs are in these pastures.
    I remember many years ago I led out my horse to pick at a bank covered in grass first thing it ate was some plantain.

    I like this more serious content sometimes. 😊 It seems like a change, but you gotta grow. One of the things I most like about many of your videos is the warm, natural rapport you have with horses. Your relationship with horses is a joy to watch. I'd like to see you talk about how you have grown these relationships, and how other people can develop that kind of relationship with their horse. Every horseman has his method, and you surely have some habits, behaviors, tips, and tricks to share with us mere mortals. Not just the training, but how you relate to the horse. You have a gift, I enjoy watching it play out. I hope you don't underestimate the value in that for those of us who tune in

    As others have commented, it really was more interesting than I thought it would be. Jesse - compared to another popular brand that you know of, that many other riders choose - how much more $$$, per 50# bag is your Andros feed?? This looks incredibly healthy. So glad they make a more crumbled version for the older horses. They can have a tough time eating in their old age. I remember taking a hammer and banging up pellets & alfalfa cubes for one of the older mares at the barn 😁 She appreciated it!

    JESUS is coming to RAPTURE His believers soon, you don't want to be LEFT BEHIND when God pours out His WRATH on a Christ rejecting world. His judgment has begun. Call on Jesus while you can
    ⁹If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
    Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose 3 days later, according to the scriptures (1 cor. 15:1-4)
    Jesus is waiting with open arms, it doesn't matter what you've done, He died For ALL SINS, believe on Him today. (Isaiah 44:22)

      Of course there is a little lost of the nutritional content. As it is with drying the gras on the field. But we choose a not too hot heat so the nutritions are retained as good as possible. In fact drying gras with warm air retains more nutritions than drying the gras in the sun. 😊
