Dear Shelley, Van Gogh did indeed painted in watercolors, maybe not the main paint, but the studies, many were done in watercolors, and he appeared to be very happy of doing so. Regarding your interpretation of Stary Night, I Love It. Thanks for the presentation and performance.
I can really appreciate the exquisiteness and perfection of realism, but I am not a realism art fan at all I love watercolor style like this. You are great at both Shelley❣️
This was so fun and informative! Did anyone else see the witch on her broom in the reference photo? It’s that time of year, I guess! 😂🎃 Thank you, Shelley!
I remember reading that the reason Van Gogh saw halos around objects, which is reflected in most of his paintings is because he would ingest the leaves of the foxglove plant which, as we know today is digitalis and is toxic and can cause this kind of vision. Wonder if this is true?
Just another one I thought of with a distinctive style from the UK Eric Ravilious, not so well known maybe but he did paint in watercolour kind of draughtsman like in a muted palette.......
Ronnie it looks I sent you a £2 gift it was not ment I just opened your sight and about van Gogh and it thanks for £2 gift . If your system has taken it it will be ok I'll will be scared to try again. Iam 82 and 🏴👍👍

Loved this Shelley, thank you. How hard would it be to do something in the style of Klimpt I wonder?
