WOW!!! I just found you today on youtube with your winter cards (birch trees). I have just watched several of your videos including the EGRET. How I love your videos!!!! So glad I ran across your work!!! You are a stunning watercolorist!!! Greetings from the US
I particularly liked your interpretation for the background, it didn't have to look like individual reeds or grasses, just the impression of them because they are background. Now I'm waiting for the bird shading.
Hi Shelley. So happy to have found your amazing channel. I am so attracted to your style of painting. I’m new to watercolour as I’ve always struggled with colours so love to wood burn. Your tutorials are so in depth and your teaching style so comforting and full of great information and encouragement. I thank you for the time spent to bring the joy of painting and exploring to your followers. Much love from Alberta 😊
I’m a fixer, I think I’m on the right track for you FB post now ? Hope so . I have some great pictures of the blue Heron . I never seen a white one .. love idea you gave us of the background . Thank you Shelly
I do believe I held my breath the entire time that you painted the background. And yes, before you painted the bird, I thought the background was way too busy. I was wrong! Another lesson learned! Thank you!🥰 I've been trying to figure out how to paint a Christmas tree with snow and multi-colored lights for Christmas cards. Suggestion for a possible demo?
@@Nancy-tr5fi I didn’t need to show the wetting so much as the thorough squeezing out of the magic eraser. Many students leave it too wet and run into problems.
Very nice, Shelly! A tricky subject!🤗
I always learn so much from you, Shelly! Thanks so much!
Thank you for showing us how to do this background. I could never really get it right. Appreciate all your videos
I really appreciate your bird and wildlife tutorials.
I learned so much from your demo, especially the way you did the background. Well done! Thank you
Lovely bird! Thank you! 😊
