Pretty nice… I’m doing the opposite with my 99 outback lol the evil twin to your stormtrooper. Lifted/suspension rebuild, 2.5 engine rebuild, flat black bed liner paint job, general grabber tires, steel tube bumpers, Off road lights

Hell yeah! I toyed with doing that to my other 2nd gen but it never came to fruition

Looking good man! I got a 2008 Legacy Wagon recently, 2.5 so not horribly slow but it's no LGT haha. Eventually I'll fix the body up some, new wheels and tires, and MAYBE a UEL for that good ol' boxer rumble. If I decide to lower it too your build is basically what I'd like it to be.
But overall mine is definitely going to be one of those "all show no go" builds lol, it'll sound good at least! It'll be my daily.

That's awesome! I still have mine although it has been sitting undriven for almost a year now at this point since I got the Forester XT that I currently daily drive. Those 4th gen legacys are great cars and even though you might not have the turbo engine, they are still loads of fun to modify and drive around. Hopefully I can get my old second gen back on the road someday.

Yes I still have it. It’s in storage right now but hopefully I’ll have it back out and on the road in the near future

Hey! I got a 95 legacy sedan so I was wondering if you had to do any adjustments to make the coilovers fit? Thanks!

Yes, one of the holes for the front strut bolts was too small for the bolt to fit through (I believe it was the top (bolt for camber adjustment) ) and all I did for that was widen them slightly with a drill. Also it is worth noting that your front castor will be about 4.5 degrees off from stock when you get it aligned due to the different placement of the strut mounting bolts on the forester vs the legacy top hats. Castor does not affect tire wear so it is really nothing to be worried about, just something to keep in mind. This can be remedied by using the correct top hats, but I never bothered to do so and it hasn't bothered me.
P.S. Sorry for the late response, if you have anymore questions I'm happy to help!
More likely to respond if you DM me on instagram @slushboxer

Not at the moment, no. I've had good luck in the past looking through junkyards, so you should start there
