Regardless of what the machine's function is, it's still applied engineering and can still make advances in certain fields of mechanical engineering. Like it or not, this is just how human progress works sometimes. It's no different than F1 racing leading to advancements in the automotive industry.

Probably the town made them move, or the field got sold to a developer or something. And now Delaware threw them out all together. What is THAT all about?
Anytime guys do things like this, it's to impress the girls. It also gives you a chance to destroy a pumpkin without throwing it from your car into the street!
