    Awesome video brother. Hitting the same target over and over again is easy. Working the dials, doing all the math, holding over and then hitting is the real challenge.

      I love my 18” mk12 with 77 smk but just ditched my Grendel for the arc. Resized my brass and bought a savage 110 tactical. 2769 fps with lever evolution and 105 bthp. Super impressive from a 18”. Putting together a 12 arc today also. Love the caliber

    Awesome content, just ordered a new Proof Research 18in in 6mm Arc. Proof needs to give you an affiliate code or something because I'm sure not the only one you sold on this barrel.

    I'm in Australia and hanging out for the Howa Mini Action to be available here in 6mm ARC.

      @@SCQT I’m running a 2.5lb CMC trigger with no issues. They did send it with a drop in trigger, don’t remember the brand. I’ve put quite a few rounds out of it and with no break I held a 1/2” five shot group at 100 yards. I put an Eric Cortina tuner break on and it’s holding a sub MOA five shot at 100 yards. Have not shot it over 700 yards yet but honestly I am way more impressed with it then I ever thought I was going to be. It’s a little more on the heavy side, but that’s what I was going for.

    Very nice and great video work. I'm just getting started with loads and so far the most accurate is 28,7 of lever with 108 ELD-M with a velocity of 2620fps .5 inch group. I need to get ahold of some 105s and try them. I have 22" CLE barrel made from a Criterion blank +1" gas system.

    Maybe i missed it but what kind of velocity are you seeing? Im assuming you have settled on a load now
    Was kinda thinking Hornady 105s and Berger 105 Hybrids, maybe some 109LRHT if ever manage to find any in stock...
    What BC are you using for the H 105s? I find the 75s shoot just as well as SMKs in my Bartlein at 100, but the listed BC is definitely optimistic
    Tried any DTACs?

    Shooting the Grendel w/ 120g lapua scenar-l bullets and AR-Comp or TAC. I was able to get both powders to do the great job. I was a 243 Win shooter and have a lot of bullets. So what was your velocity with the 105’s? I went 16” barrel and 108s are 2550 and 105s are 2625. Wondering if I shouldn’t go 18” for a consistent 1000 yard gun…

    • @wyominghighdesertprecision
      @wyominghighdesertprecision  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’m running a moderate load, muzzle velocity right at 2600, that’s where my Standard Deviation numbers where best. That’s one of the biggest keys to consistently, low SD’s. Your 16” should be able to do it regardless of muzzle velocity as long as they are still supersonic at that distance. Hope that helps, thanks for watching.

    • @JGoodZX6R
      @JGoodZX6R 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wyominghighdesertprecision thanks for the info. I’m showing 108s at 2550 fps slowing to about 1170 fps at 1000 yards on a standard day, so I think it’ll be ok. 105s at 2550 fps as well are about 1220 fps. (Misspoke in my first comment…2625 fps was the 103’s).
