nice to see another upload! sorry for your internet issues. heres some tips on the 3 new ores, they spawn more frequently at different elevations according to how strong they are, so nearer to the surface will spawn cobalt, further down will yield mythril and ofc titanium is the deepest down also killing enemies in the underground crimson and hallow (new biome) will yield some uncommon loot which will be usefull also also when you get hellstone craft the sword alongside the pickaxe, the guide will show you something cool it makes as always have fun!
Thank you very much. I think this will be the first weapon crafted since the wooden sword lol Always fun slaughtering unicorns, pixies, and wyverns (not a sentence I could have predicted when starting this game but I guess that's just the kind of game Terraria is) wish me luck :)
To get tissue samples you'll have to kill the brain of cthulhu again unfortunately lol. However it'll definitely be worth it, because since you have new ores in your world you will need a hellstone pickaxe to mine them. I recommend not getting any hellstone gear other than the pick since you're sorta past the point where the gear is super worth it. The gear you can make with the new ores (cobalt, mythril, titanium) is vastly superior to hellstone. ALSO 8:47 YES AND THIS IS THE WORST THING EVER. Both the hallow and crimson biomes are "evil" biomes and will not stop spreading until they have corrupted the entire world. After killing the wall of flesh it will make a "V" shape with one side crimson, one side hallow that goes from the top of hell to the top of space (hence why you found a hallow floating island lol). There isn't really much you can do to stop the spreading without destroying large portions of your world (or another method which you will probably find out a bit later in the game). For now just be aware that any natural crimson/hallow blocks (besides crimtane) will start spreading if they are placed, though this does not apply to blocks crafted with crimson/hallow blocks. Blocks that can be corrupted by the hallow/crimson are blocks such as sand, grass, stone and ice and can be corrupted if they are within 3 tiles of an evil block. Sorry for the giant wall of yap but biome spread SUCKS!!!! It's super fast in hardmode (that's what post WoF is) and difficult to counter :(
Great, So first kill the brain then go mining. Any tips on finding the stuff? So pretty soon there will only be two biomes? Does that mean I lose or does it just get more difficult? Also, thank you for the massive wall of "yap", at least I will be somewhat prepared (thought I was being paranoid at first lol) P.s. Me is noob, and don't know what WoF is :\
@@FlocciGi Exploring old caves could prove useful as you won't need to explore new territory, though for titanium a useful strategy is to explore the top of hell or just above hell for any exposed ore as it spawns quite far down on the map. As for the evil biomes they probably won't take over the *entire* world and you don't technically lose if it happens but it can be really inconvenient if your spawn/pylons gets turned into crimson. I've heard grass with sunflowers can't be infected so placing three sunflowers in a row on the border of the crimson by your spawn could stop it from infecting that area, could still spread up from underground though. It'll definitely make things more difficult if that happens, but as a last resort you can spread the hallow near biomes you want to protect as it is much better than the crimson. This is because it won't spread through the mud in the jungle, and if it infects the snow, desert or caverns then NPCs that are already happy will stay happy (as it counts as both hallow AND snow/desert/caverns, so pylons will still work as well). This sadly doesn't work for the forest or ocean tho, hallow will replace them. Also sorry for the confusion lol, WoF stands for Wall of Flesh. It pretty much is the halfway point of the game as it marks the transition between pre-hardmode and hardmode
Oh, that definitely sounds annoying. This is going to be a fun video lol. OK, so its an acronym Terraria pros use, now I will adopt it into my vocabulary to blend in lol. Post WoF here I come :)
its crafted after killing deerclops the first time he spawns in winter, granting 100 percent wetness protection and immunity to lightning strikes. bring a hambat football helmet and pirogies and hes a piece of cake. after killing him grab his eye and twigs and make it at the alchemy engine.
