Sana manlng may isang pinoy director na gumawa ng epic film with this song, especially about the 10 datu with great special effects and all the best filipino actors. It would be amazing. Tama na sana muna yung puro lovelife movies. Hahaha. Like if you agree. 😊😊😉
Oo nga. Kaso hindi masyadong binibigyang pansin ng mga producers and film makers ang mga ganyang film satin. Kung gagawa man, nakakadisappoint talaga minsan. Pero sana nga magkaroon ng Pre-Colonial themed na movie sa Pinas. ❤
@@lelengtintin2404yes. im so tired of seeing the same and the same storylines every time. Puro love story, rom com, horror with lovelife, at walang katapusang drama na ishoshoot pa ibang bansa kasi ayaw na mag shoot dito sa pinas.
Just learned na merong existing musical about the Maragtas! We should work on collecting, recording, and transcribing the music so that we can share it with the world!
It's high time for Filipino directors and producers to really step up their game. If they are to create such an epic, they have to do thorough and thoughtful research. There has to be a certain intellectual vigor and higher level of contemplation in crafting the story, dialogue, and musical score. The masses have been bombarded with low class productions for years and it has to change.
sana na i-feature man lang itong Kruhay nung Asean games last year, goosebumps ako sa kantang to. kailang ulit na ako kakapanuod at kakapakinig di ako nagsasawa. kaka proud may ganitong kanta na pati ang ibang nasyon ay kinakanta rin tong kruhay.

unicorn tears you should because they are the original choir and the mother of all kruhays...they got everything the accent and the naturality and the flow of our lical dialect karay a or kiniray a..
This song is actually from the original soundtrack of the movie “Ang Panday.” It was originally performed by a group called “Hagibis,” the Filipino version of the Village People. Essentially, this song tells the story of how a local blacksmith defeated the forces of evil including the seven dwarves.
I saw them performEd this at Namcya At West Negros College, Bacolod City (Now, STI- West Negros University) ... authentic Karay-a accent... i love the bells back then the "nuances" of tultog sounds festive and alive the interpretation of this version is still similar to that i witnessed almost 20 years ago.

complex yung style ng kanta mahirap i perfect..u need strong sopranos and dapat snappy yung tone nito.u wont give justice to this somg if u have crappy sopranos
By musicality reason Philippine music is very complex and difficult. Our folk songs were modified to be sung in choirs not only in Ph but other countries too. This is rooted deep in our culture and how we relate into it. A nation considered to be established by way how the people represents their collections of music, myths, legends and arts.
The bamboo is a bit too loud! The sopranos a bit too loud also in some parts. All parts got so excited towards end and overpowered the obligato. What a great pity because the obligato plays an integral role towards the end! Sayang, OK na sana!
The composer Mr. Benny Castillon was a former member of this group, The University of San Agustine Troubadours. The first performance of this song was actually done by a select group of Troubadour Alumni - Koro, in a local arts festival. But the first time this was exposed to the national audience was when this performed by the USA Troubadours in CCP for a music festival, therefore it would be appropriate to declare that it was they who originally sang this composition first, thus they are indeed the originators of the performances of this choral masterpiece.
I think that’s how it should be done as per the composer. Coz the composer taught the usa troubadours how to do it. I was there in 2002 when it all happened. Thank you po
I wondered if the acoustics of the venue made the sound of this choir very fierce as the sound of the bamboo was not natural too. However, at many points, the sopranos were too powerful and it overpowered the other sections, especially the basses.

Nothing beats the original. Thw accent and the real melody and expressions how to speak a real Kiniray a dialect. Good job USA.

First of all, Karay-a is NOT a dialect.
I think UP Madrigals are the originals?

Why is Kruhay a favorite for international choirs?
It's the tonal painting in the composition! You could hear and feel the variations, right?
The melody and layers. Just listen to it.
The choir in the video are Filipinos.
Wow na wow 🤩 galing !
Heavenly rendition..Thanks Guyz, Proud Pinoy Here!!!🎉❤❤❤

Sir Arnee Lubasan
Is dis chorale from Univ. of San Agustin (Iloilo)?
yes po
The ancient language that originated from Borneo now spoken by the people of Panay is a difficult language it delivered forcefully when spoken
Paanong original po? Hehe curious po ako 😅😅
Michael Castillo it was considered original po kase, yung composer, trainor nila sa chorale nila. So, probably sila yung ginawang singers para jn 😁
