  • This video is of the various Moto Guzzi V100 accessories I've installed, which may help give people ideas on what they might want to do to their bike. Bike currently has about 600 miles on it.
    I forgot to mention I also have the high heated comfort seat which is very comfy. Also forgot to show & mention the socket I bought for the rear axle nut for when the time comes that I need to replace the rear wheel. I didn't have the Biondi Sport (Short) Windscreen installed as I'm no longer in summer mode, but if you watch WingsGeo channel/videos he has it in his v100 video as well. There's basically no function to it since it's so short, so it's all about form.

    The top box look like an OEM fitment and is better than most Guzzi ones I've seen.

    When i put my side cases together I trimmed the latch ends of the locks allowing me to remove the key without actually locking the case. I don't always need to have them locked. I too did a license plate mod. Removed side reflectors and installed Arrow ti/carbon muffler.

      I did the same with my locks on the sidecases.

    Now that MG has moved into the 21st Cemtury, and has cruise control technology....maybe they'll bring back the Norge. I loved the looks of that bike and would have had one but a touring bike with no cruise control was ludicrous.
    I LOVE this V100 but not enough wind protection for my long rides. There are add-on windscreen deflectors out there to get the wind moving higher. Also a little tid bit for riders. Laminar lip will custom make a lip if you send them your windscreen. Talk to Leo, nice guy.

      @@_JimS I have a v100 and got the largest screen and then a clip on added. It's finally working pretty well. For slower I have a a tiny windshield

    The reason you must specify that you've installed a taller windscreen is to disable height adjustment at high speeds. The extra leverage of a tall screen puts excessive stress on the adjustment mechanism if you adjust at speeds over, I believe, 80 mph. So sayeth the manual.
    The front fender extender is a good idea to lessen the amount of crud that gets flung onto the radiator and engine, but I couldn't abide the poor fit of the one shown here. Hopefully other aftermarket solutions will be available soon. Cheers from a Verde V100S owner.

      Supposedly Pyramid makes a better looking front fender but I haven't tried it yet.

    Is a top rack available for the Givi trunk. That's probably what the extra marks are for. Nice motorcycle thinking about getting one doing some research.

    Great info. Thanks. Do you use inner bags for your side cases and if so which ones?

    • @StockySnail
      @StockySnail  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No. I just used the stretch clips that are inside. I preferred the v85tt side aluminum cases and the inner liners.

    I purchased Guzzi side cases. However the black plastic on the rear is scuffed. It comes that way from the factory, I compared with another. Do you see that on your cases? I will get the givi top case, looks great.

    • @StockySnail
      @StockySnail  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I love the comfort seat. Most comfortable seat I've ever owned or sat on. I don't think I really need the heated portion but they only make it heated so no other choice.

    how easy is it to take off the top box?

    • @StockySnail
      @StockySnail  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have only put it on. Haven't taken it off yet. Went on easy enough after a firm press down once lined up. I assume it would be just as easy to remove.

      @@rodericde876 no. I'm not racing on a track for prize money so I care more about the bike being protected, more useable, and more comfortable than a few pounds here and there.
