I'm removing my slotted drilled rotors due to the noise and quick warpage on my Z3

If the parking brake was adjusted correctly you would have to release tension on the cable from inside the car before removing the rotors, otherwise they won't come off because the brake shoes don't give enough clearance.

Did you need to replace and of the sensors? My ABS and sensor light keeps going off on the dash

I replaced the pad sensors but that not tied into the abs light. You might want to try flushing the brake fluid.
