This is my favorite show EVER until now, 2021. Even when it was cancelled, the story just reminded me too many lessons and gave me different perspectives of some other things related to life i've watch it like 5 or 6 times and everytime it gets to season 3, it just brokes my heart and leaves me with that sensation of wanting to know what happens with Kyle and Jessi, the Tragers and see the evolution and reflections of Kyle. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the narrative of the show, and how Kyle tells the story from his point of view. It's very sad really.
it's funny how all these people (including myself) want such an amazing show to come back so we all get to see the ending of this story we've all fallen in love with.. but, all these people behind the curtain just cut it off... that's brutal... especially to a show that for once kept such strong values and kindness throughout... come on netflix.. pick this show up for a last season!

I realize that the actors are to old now to continue the show, but they could do a time jump. They could do one more episode showing the future. Giving the fans some sort of closure.

You know, Roger, I feel the same way. I've just finished watching the entire series (for the first time) and I'm so angry at ABC Family for having cancelled this show. I'm amazed at the dedication of the fan base, but I totally understand why. What I don't understand is the lack of closure the network gave to the loyal fans who made "Kyle XY" ABC Family's flagship show, and then they turn around and shaft everyone. I wonder if they cancelled it in 2009 because there were threats to "out" Matt Dallas back then? Perez Hilton was constantly trying to out him, and I wonder if the idiot execs worried that it would destroy the show? And now that he's outed himself and his fan base didn't desert him, seems an awful waste at the expense of "Kyle XY". This may not be the reason, of course, but nothing else makes any sense. I have read that ABC cancelled claiming that it'd become too expensive to produce with lowered ratings in season three, but that doesn't ring true to me. Something else was up. And what a pity. This is such a beautiful show. I cannot believe how it touched me. I wanna be a Trager. Damnit.

One of the best shows I'd ever seen. Season one was just great. The writers did a wonderful job with the intro and they couldn't have found better actors to play the part. Season 2 introduces jessi, and although it was still super interesting, it kind of repeated. Jessi replacing Kyle in the search for answers, a new company replacing the old one. And when it got to season 3 it introduces a similar villian. By this point the big mystery of Kyle and Jessi is solved. My opinion.
Yeah, season one was funny and endearing. The family was amazing, matt dallas did a great job playing kyle. But, I really like the build up of the story itself. In Season 2 i was still hooked. It wasnt until season 3 when I felt overwhelmed with drama and slightly annoyed by the length of time it took for everyone to befriend jessi. And with this, I escaped the hook and started asking a lot of why questions. To me I felt like they should have wrap it up instead of extending.

I feel like the added thing of Cassidy being Kyle's brother was sorta lame and looking for that daytime drama effect. It should have ended with kyle AND JESSIE stopping Latnochs plans to make clones of him. Still pissed that Secrect life took its place... politics and tv? what can you do right. Networks never seem to understood sci-fi/fantasy... it's the genre that can develop lifetime fandom if done well. So initial rating means very little when compare to the long term potential. Other genre just don't have that level of potential... yet so many get cancel so easily.

I love the good ones. Even, if Jessie does have a growing sympathy- Amanda is just great. It's like Louise Lane and Superman. ;DD
I feel kinda betrayed- Kyle XY is one of the most amazing series of our times and ABC just cancelled it without giving us fans a chance to say goodbye. Okay that sounds stupid, but still I want it to have a real ending- mybe they could do a Tv movie or something.

hey does anyone know if there is still a chance to get this show back? it was a gold mine. i seriously love the whole concept with all the drama, scifi aspect, and love triangles. If there is something that needs to be done i'm freakin in. The show's concept is brilliant and is a waste to have it all end like this. i only found out later about this show and didn't know about it until word of mouth and now i watched every episode and feel ripped off because i want more. BRING THE SHOW BACK DAMNIT

Now that I'm hearing all of this, I really wish they would have made a fourth season. Thanks a lot ABC Family for cancelling the greatest show you had cause of a craapy show about a teenager.

loyality to their fans. If you look around at the shows comments, there are VERY comments that show that the was not liked. If those that like the show that replaced it, still liked Kyle XY. I no longer watch ABC,NBC,CBS or FOX, there is no loyality and I do not have time to waste because of that.
So disappointing... Truly an underrated show. So much potential... and what a fucking cliff hanger. Not fair, so not fair.

:( I had started watching this show about a week ago on Netflix and had watched ALL 43 EPISODES and then it just left me hangin. i was like addicted to this show and i thought there was going to be this great ending but i just figured out it got canceled...in 2009....nothing to do about it now!!! :( So mad.

ABC FAMILY should hide their heads in shame for canceling such a great show like Kyle XY. They have nothing good I want to watch ever since they canceled a truly unique show.
Networks never seem to understood sci-fi/fantasy... it's the genre that can develop lifetime fandom if done well. So initial rating means very little when compare to the long term potential. Other genre just don't have that level of potential... yet so many get cancel so easily.
