I can't say that Kyle XY was a masterpiece or anything... but I enjoyed his character, the story and the mysteries that surrounded the series. These few things kept me watching. I wanted to know what would happen to Kyle. :)
It was something different & creative for a change. That was a huge draw. It also opened up a world of possibilities, given the unknown boundaries of the brain's full capacity. Then there's the love stories: following multiple aspects of love through different relationships.
After your comment i started watching The Nine Lives Of Chloe King and i liked it, right now i watched the 7th epi where chloe and Alek kissed it'a a shame series like these do not get more attention and get cancelled

My characters of course are'nt these characters but I use topics and spoofs from scences playing out like this. Grew up millenial so I definetly have to give a tribute to this. Just seeing the tech in this show brings back memories.

I have also found that apparently they wrote another 2 novels, they are listed as kyle xy: novel #3 and kyle xy: novel #4. But I have not found any actual page where they sell the book or have a PDF on it, so if it was printed I think it got lost. In the end this show was great but didn't have that many audience, so I guess they didn't do many books about it. I wish there was a book about how the writers planned it to end.

Even these old clips this show is soo not PC. Examples: The autism findings have advanced since this show was running, stereotypical high school bullying and homophobia. Of course no offense but the Tragers were so passive that they have two biological kids that are having underage sex and breaking all kinds of laws(and not to mention curfew). Declan getting committing hit and run with only a slap on the wrist(Affluenza and white privalge anyone?).Plus the main cast was all caucasian only signs of diversity was the school and of course the childrens home with the juice me scene(rest were minor characters and brief). Kinda like seeing these clips and this stuff stay in the time period it was made cause it would be harder to market this now.
