Yup. I can only see Rockstar Games competing somehow with them. Blizzard with Starcraft, Warcraft, and Diablo, makes the best cinematic trailers of the industry.
In the 2nd video, that was indeed an archangel, named Inarius. According to the franchise's lore, Inarius and Lilith (the winged woman demon), fled the the war called the Eternal Conflict, opposing the Burning Hells and the High Heavens, as they both realized (inside their own factions) that this war couldn't be won. In turn they'd would get with one another, creating a place, called Sanctuary, with other "rebels" where they thought they'd be safe and far from all this neverending violence, and would become the home of Inarius and Lilith's offspring, the Nephalem, which is humanity, inheriting both traits of their parents, Good and Bad. I hope I teased enough and I'll leave the rest for you to look up ;)
@@therabbits69 Tyrael is no longer an archangel and he is just a mortal now ( he choose to do so). He is presumably dead , killed by Imperius for his betrayal. Nothing on Diablo 4 so far mention anything about him. They could watch some Diablo 3 cinematic , pretty bad ars , it's explain there.

That “it’s a gate” then the echos sends chills down my spine every time. I’ve seen this cinematic for both characters I made and i absolutely love this intro. It really sets the stage for the game. That and the Reverend Mother in the battle scene. The Angel is Inarius, who runs a religion on “earth” (Sanctuary) called the Cathedral of Light and they are such a fascinating military order just from this cutscene. Even their style of battle is like a prayer ritual. Trust me, you owe it to yourselves to watch all the cinematic of this game. The second half of the battle in hell is absolutely legendary in every way.

Just some background from a guy who played 6K hours Diablo 3 (wonderful reaction by the way): Inarius was an angel and one of the most powerful beings in the High Heavens. However, he grew disillusioned with the eternal conflict between Heaven and Hell and yearned for something different. Inarius believed that angels and demons should coexist rather than fight each other. Lilith, on the other hand, was a powerful demon known as the Daughter of Hatred. She was a primary figure in the creation of Sanctuary, a realm existing between the High Heavens and Burning Hells, where humans dwell. Inarius and Lilith met in the void and fell in love, which was considered an abomination by both angels and demons. Together, they conceived the idea of creating a new world, a sanctuary where angels, demons, and humans could coexist in balance and harmony. They named this world Sanctuary and became its primary architects. Inarius and Lilith used their immense powers to shape Sanctuary and created the Worldstone, a powerful artifact that could conceal the existence of Sanctuary from the High Heavens and Burning Hells. The Worldstone also ensured that the power of humans would remain hidden, preventing the eternal conflict from spilling into Sanctuary. However, over time, Inarius and Lilith's vision for Sanctuary diverged. Inarius sought to control and manipulate humanity, while Lilith believed in their inherent freedom and potential. This disagreement led to a bitter conflict between them, known as the Edyrem War. Inarius eventually won the war and imprisoned Lilith within the Void. He also corrupted the Worldstone, which had unintended consequences on humanity, weakening their powers and suppressing their potential. Inarius established the secretive angelic order known as the Cathedral of Light to oversee humanity in Sanctuary.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite reaction channels, was not expecting this treat today! This is by far one of my favorite games ever since I was a kid, so excited to play this one! Little bit of background, the angel is named Inarius and the demon lady is Lilith. Hell and Heaven are locked in an eternal war, but these two got tired of it and both secretly left to create their own world away from the war, a world they called Sanctuary. They had children together (which is where humanity came from) and then things went sour. Lilith got imprisoned in a void and was summoned back in that first cinematic and now she wants to protect Sanctuary and her "children" from Heaven and Hell, but in a sick and demented way. Inarius wants to kill Lillith and her army in hopes that will put him back in the Angel's good graces so they will allow him to come back to Heaven. There's obviously a lot more to it but that's the gist of it!
Something worth adding is why things went sour: the first humans were called Nephalem and they were incredibly powerful beings, capable of surpassing both angels and demons in power. Inarius and all of his followers, both angelic and demonic, feared the Nephalem and their power, so they resolved that they had to be either destroyed or managed. Lilith raged at this and destroyed ALL of the angels and demons that had followed her and Inarius into exile. Still, Inarius could not bear to kill her, so he cast her into the Void and then made sure that the successive generations of nephalem would slowly lose their power and become mortal. When Heaven and Hell became aware of all this Mephisto, the head-honcho of Hell, negotiated a truce with Heaven: they would get to decide what to do with Sanctuary if they handed over Inarius to him, so that he could be punished for his betrayal and for imprisoning his daughter LIlith (Mephisto is the Lord of Hatred, which is why Lilith is called the Daughter of Hatred). Heaven accepted and Sanctuary was barely spared from destruction, while Inarius spent thousands an thousands of years in Hell tortured by Mephisto.

When Diablo 2 was released in 2000, I was 18 years old, and I have been hooked on these games ever since. The story. The lore... Its just such a cool story, and the games are so exiting to play.! Now my Oldest son just bought Diablo 3, and are going to buy Diablo 4 when he is finished compleating Diablo 3.

But one more long, agonizing week, then I can ease my pain! Really cool react btw, I am happy you guys decided to join the battle! I am sure you won't regret it :D
A little Background from a hardcore Diablo Player, Lillith is called the Daughter of Hatred because she is the Daughter of Mephisto the Lord of Hatred, Inarius is an Angel seeking to regain his place in the Heavens, they both had a son together called Rathma, In order of Greater Evils there are 3 Diablo the Lord of Terror being the Strongest, Baal the Lord of Destruction and Finally Mephisto the Lord of Hatred, Also there are 4 known Lesser Evils, Andariel, Duriel, Belial, and Azmodan
The ground rumbling beneath him in the 2nd cinematic is not from the weight of him its due to opposites reject each other. He being an angel of the high heavens and the ground being on hell itself, so he uses his angelic wings to anchor himself.
Never played Diablo before but THIS has me very interested...I am going to pick up 3 on ps4 and then 4 after. Your excitement is contagious for sure....this blew me away and must play it.

I watch plenty of people reacting to this cinematics. Gamers and non-gamers, people who know and didnt know about Diablo, It always gives me chills. Blizzard is amazing at making this cinematics. None on the game industry can come close. I even feels like its better than what Hollywood can produce. BTW great reaction, please continue making reaction video because both of you really have good and seems like honest reaction.
Loved how you'll genuinely appreciated the artistry of these cinematics. Subbed 👊 Also once this game releases, if you'll are playing on console like xbox or playstation, it will have couch co-op. It's actually the perfect game for 2 people playing together
Diablo is from Blizzard-Activision I believe? If so, Blizzard is legendary for making video game cinematics so good that people beg them to make entire movies/shows based on their 3-4 minute clips! They easily rival the big boys like Pixar, both in terms of pushing the visuals/artistry and consistently amazing story telling. My guess is they make very very good, succinct, impactful stories first and THEN go ham on the visuals and sound. Honestly, I bet if you googled "best Blizzard cinematics", you'd get a million mind-bendingly good ones.
That’s gotta be Tyrael right? I won’t spoil why I know in case anyone wants to play Diablo 3, but it’s definitely him. Super fun reaction, liked and subscribed
I've been playing the game for a few days now in Early Access. There are lots of great cinematics and cut scenes as you play through the campaign. It's sort of like playing a game and watching a movie at the same time, but you're participating as a character in the movie. It's amazing.
Hey Haylo & Kiss. Just found your channel and gotta say I'm loving it thus far. I strongly recommend Blizzard's cinematics across all their franchises, they've been amazing for over 20 years just like these Diablo 4 cinematics. Keep it up, looking forward to more videos!
I feel like I need to see you guys play this game. The cinematics within the game are phenomenal as well and the game overall has such an amazing design and soundtrack. Well worth the money
Wanna get more goosebumps? The angel guy and the demon lady were once in love! Despite the Heavens and Hell being at war (Angels vs Demons), those two fell in love and ran away together to create a world for themselves - that world is called Sanctuary, and it's basically their version of Earth. Their babies were the off-spring of angels and demons combined, and they were basically our ancestors. So, humans are actually the far descendants of the Angel and Demon that you saw in these cinematics!
This game made me realize who my true mother was. I sent my false mother to the nursing home and now spend my days offering my service and devotion to mother Lilith. Blessed mother, thank you.
been watching the reveal trailer on repeat for like over a year now. Now im playing it and its pretty great. i wish there were more people grouping up / people to play with but.. yes.. amazing. love the music too
It's so cool to see this awe inspired in new gamers. Also that it's girls now getting hooked just the way I did when I was a boy seeing the Diablo 2 trailers and getting hyped out of my mind lol. This is what games were always meant to be. Now for game companies though, well... No I want to let you live in wonderland for a little while longer, you'll have your illusions shattered soon enough.
Earned a subscriber. Great reaction! Missing some other Diablo 4 cinematics but this was great! It annoys me to no end with how much they can do and they could provide a blockbuster animated movie that would absolutely destroy everything in its path!
There is a cutscene in the game that is so brutal it made my stomach turn for a second and as someone who loves occult themed things, played literal thousands of hours of diablo 2+3 and watched horror movies my entire life.. it genuinely surprised me how crazy it was.
I think Elias (pale bald man) was trying to break the priest's will and coerce him since they had to be "willing". Super cool to see him go from terrified to a deer in headlights.
When you see stuff like this you really get a feel of how people get addicted to gaming in general when things like this is out there to take up our time. Who would rather sit around and watch reality tv shows when you can play games like this?
Blizzard are incredible when it comes to their cinematics. Someone probably already pointed this out but their Overwatch cinematics are extremely good as well, you might want to look into that. They got more than an hour of stuff of that quality level and they tell little stories.
This was an awsome intro, but for me, the best game cinematic I have seen in years occurs at the end of Diablo. The 8min long Inarius vs Lilith scene. (I guess its better if you are playing the game and know the story).
I have said this on other channels and I will repeat forever until they finally do so, but the Blizzard Cinematic team cut their teeth with the World of Warcraft stuff and has continued to improve through each WoW expansions, Star Craft II title, and Diablo game. The MUST put out a film at some point!
React to all the Overwatch cinematics! They are made by the same company that makes Diablo cinematics, absolutely top notch. I would recommend the Kiriko Cinematic, The Last Bastion, Honor and Glory and Dragons, but really you can't miss with the Overwatch cinematics.
Blizzard is known for their AWESOME cinematics. You can watch all the World of Warcraft cinematics too, especially from the last five years or something, they are amazing. Eventhough, as a warcraft player for over 15 years, i have to say: NOTHING beats "by three they come". This cinematic is epic as hell :)
You should watch through all the cutscenes for Diablo 3. That one specifical because it has the most context to the world without having to play the games.
Tyrael, formerly the Archangel of Justice, now the Aspect of Wisdom, is a mortal angel. He is a stalwart defender of Sanctuary and mankind, but is considered a renegade by the Angiris Council. If not for his actions, both the mortal realm and its inhabitants would have fallen to darkness long ago.
In the second trailer, the Floating Figure, Inarius is Once Inarius was also the leader of the Angiris Council and Archangel of Conviction, but he left the High Heavens because he had grown tired of the eternal struggle between good and evil. Some others, both from the heavens and from hell, moved with him and united. Together they created Sanctuary and hid it from the powers of Heaven and Hell through the power of the Worldstone. Later they settled Sanctuary with the Nephalem, a species created from these unholy unions. One of those who joined with Inarius was Lilith, with whom he had a great love at that time, but which later turned into hatred. Out of this connection came Rathma among others. But soon Lilith decided to use the strong and powerful Nephalem for her purposes and to create a compliant army out of them. Inarius opposed these plans and used the Worldstone to weaken their powers with each successive generation. However, he also wanted control over them and fell for the trick of posing as the prophet and leader of the Cathedral of Light so that the High Heavens would not take notice of him too quickly. After the Great War of Sin, he was captured by the Council of Angels. They made a pact with Mephisto and delivered Inarius to him, so that in return he would leave Sanctuary and its inhabitants alone. Mephisto, who had a special hatred for Inarius, took him to the Burning Hells and tortured him. The stories of the novels and the Diablo manuals differ somewhat in the story of Inarius, for example, there is also the version according to which Inarius is described as a beautiful male angel with golden hair, who could not get enough of his own beauty and for this reason created a cathedral of mirrored glass and crystal so that he could always and everywhere look at himself. In his pride, he messed with Mephisto's followers and destroyed one of his temples. Mephisto later punished this by arresting Inarius and his followers. He tortured Inarius and slowly tore his wings off his back, burning his skin and crippling him. So that the once vain angel would suffer eternally, he tore off his eyelids and banished him to a room full of mirrors, so that he would have to bear his ugly image forever.
Thanks for the reaction, you two seem cool! Could I make a small suggestion? The constant cuts between the different layouts is a little jarring. Might be best to just pick one and stick to it.
Love it! Welcome ladies!! Lore for you. Lilith and Inarius (The Archangel you saw in the second vid) are the creators of the world Sanctuary, and technically our Male and Female progenitors. The other angels and demons that followed them gave birth to humanity. Might I recommend a few vids to react to next. WoW Wrath of the Lich King, and the SWTOR cinematics (Star Wars)

10:40 turns own this trailer is only ~40% of a cutscene that appears in game. You should def check out the full cut.
One week away from The Slaughter! Can't wait. Have played the beta, and I honestly tell you, after that, my entire Drive was cleaned of all the other games, cause I didn't care to play anything but Diablo 4. The wait was exhausting! But one more long, agonizing week, then I can ease my pain! Really cool react btw, I am happy you guys decided to join the battle! I am sure you won't regret it :D
I been playing Diablo since the first one, and your reaction to Diablo 4 was the same I had when I saw the cinematic for the first time :D Love it
A little Background from a hardcore Diablo Player, Lillith is called the Daughter of Hatred because she is the Daughter of Mephisto the Lord of Hatred, Inarius is an Angel seeking to regain his place in the Heavens, they both had a son together called Rathma, In order of Greater Evils there are 3 Diablo the Lord of Terror being the Strongest, Baal the Lord of Destruction and Finally Mephisto the Lord of Hatred, Also there are 4 known Lesser Evils, Andariel, Duriel, Belial, and Azmodan
Listen, another Diablo veteran here & I LOVED your guy's reaction to these trailers! My new favorites! I subbed! 😂 These trailers are INDEED in need of full movie treatment! Hope we can play together when this beast drops! 😎✌🏾👹
Subbed 👊
Also once this game releases, if you'll are playing on console like xbox or playstation, it will have couch co-op.
It's Inarius
LOL
been watching the reveal trailer on repeat for like over a year now.
You can tell the girl to the right is a inner gamer
There is a cutscene in the game that is so brutal it made my stomach turn for a second and as someone who loves occult themed things, played literal thousands of hours of diablo 2+3 and watched horror movies my entire life.. it genuinely surprised me how crazy it was.
I think Elias (pale bald man) was trying to break the priest's will and coerce him since they had to be "willing". Super cool to see him go from terrified to a deer in headlights.
Are you gonna make a reaction for the Vessel of Hatred? 😄
Great reactions! The rest of that scene is out, would love a continued reaction to it :)
You two remind me of my daughters. They're both so hyped for this game and not typically what you picture when you hear "gamer."
This is legit the best video game cinematic ever made.
When you see stuff like this you really get a feel of how people get addicted to gaming in general when things like this is out there to take up our time. Who would rather sit around and watch reality tv shows when you can play games like this?
This was great. You 2 really capture the hype!!
Its great to see a strong female following into this series. Welcome & hope you have a blast slaying countless demons
I think that you would love watching the cinematics from diablo III. They are so well made as well
pro tip for dungeoneers; if a place requires the blood of 3 to open a door...steer clear of it unless you've gotten the habit of killing old gods.
Blizzard are incredible when it comes to their cinematics. Someone probably already pointed this out but their Overwatch cinematics are extremely good as well, you might want to look into that. They got more than an hour of stuff of that quality level and they tell little stories.
I would absolutely suggest looking up the full game cinemáticas for the previous games.
I love Diablo so much. The artistry is insane ,Blizzard sure has some amazing talent. Storyline is well done. 😊
This was an awsome intro, but for me, the best game cinematic I have seen in years occurs at the end of Diablo. The 8min long Inarius vs Lilith scene. (I guess its better if you are playing the game and know the story).
This might be the best reaction I've ever seen! Suscribed!
I would recommend the Kiriko Cinematic, The Last Bastion, Honor and Glory and Dragons, but really you can't miss with the Overwatch cinematics.
if you want diablo lore, i recommend Rhyker diablo lore. its like 5 years old but its very well done. you will love it
Blizzard is known for their AWESOME cinematics. You can watch all the World of Warcraft cinematics too, especially from the last five years or something, they are amazing. Eventhough, as a warcraft player for over 15 years, i have to say: NOTHING beats "by three they come". This cinematic is epic as hell :)
Watch the extended version of Inarius vs Lilith.
You should watch through all the cutscenes for Diablo 3. That one specifical because it has the most context to the world without having to play the games.
Yep.............that was my exact reaction too...Bought the game..
I absolutely love your excitement, been playing beta and its just fun, a movie of this would be amazing
In the second trailer, the Floating Figure, Inarius is
Once Inarius was also the leader of the Angiris Council and Archangel of Conviction, but he left the High Heavens because he had grown tired of the eternal struggle between good and evil.
Never played any diabolo but is it worth, now? These trailers are outstanding...incredible
I wish I still got as hyped as you guys! I was reacting the same back when diablo 2 was released! :) diablo 4 is soon here! bye bye real life.
I've never played Diablo 3 but I was obsessed with Diablo 2 and the expansion. I suggest you also watch the cinematic videos of Diablo 2. 😄
Thanks for the reaction, you two seem cool! Could I make a small suggestion? The constant cuts between the different layouts is a little jarring. Might be best to just pick one and stick to it.
Thank you! Always grateful for feedback!
Can't wait for this.
Honestly im surprised Diablo doesnt have its own movie trilogy. It have better story and lore than 90% of the movies coming out these past 10 years
Please keep going. Reaction videos are my favorite and you two are a VIBE
This franchise has always had the most insane good cinematics. Games have been good too but they push boundaries with the cinematics.
