    I love this!!! Please do the lettuce of many sorts! I have a pretend green thumb, that for the most part has been awesome....& these boxes are amazeballs!!! :) I am really glad I watched this & am going to try to copy....I live in AZ, & have 360 days of sun! We moved into a house without any trees. A year later, my family has remedied this. These succulents look like they need to go on my outside wall STAT!!! Keep on smiling! You are an absolute gem!

      +Aimee Hodgin I am jealous of your 360 days of sun!!! I would love that! Yeah, these boxes are pretty amazing- I want a bunch of them to hang all over! I did lettuce in a small pallet that I hung on the wall- it was really pretty, almost didn't want to eat any of it! Thank you for your sweet comment! :)

    Please do a video on wall planters for indoors. I live in a colder climate like you (no green house) and would love more videos on growing indoors during winter.

    I did something like this with an antique mirror candelabra. I took out the mirror and put the succulents in that area. Thanks for sharing ☺️👍❤️.

    Im truly amazed by how the cactus soil dont slide out of the frame. Did u also insert some moss in between? Also, I would like to know how to water them?...just spray on them maybe? I know succulents don't need to be watered that much. Great job! Love your project!

    • @gardenanswer
      @gardenanswer  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Mench S The barriers between the planter are slanted up which helps the plants not fall out. I will also lay it flat for a couple weeks before I hang it up to let the plants root in a bit first! I will water this every 7-10 days (less during the winter months, and possible more during the summer). :) Thanks for watching! :) ~Laura

    A few q's if you don't mind: What type of moss are you adding? Are you tearing smaller pieces of it from a large clump? Does it eventually root in the soil and grow just like the succulents? Thanks!

    Hi! I love your videos but wonder if its ever a problem of your plants overcrowding. Do you thin it out ever or do the plants grow perfectly fine having such little space in between. Thanks for your input!

    I must get that 'box' - really love it! Quick question, does anyone know where I can buy some screen for the bottom of my succulent planters? I've been everywhere looking for something and no luck. I'm currently using rocks piled up at the bottom of my planter. Ugh!

    • @veritorossi
      @veritorossi 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +T Miller She said several times to use only soil and not but anything at the bottom of the planters. IT's not healthy for the plants.

      +T Miller you could put captions on if you look in the right corner of the video there will be three dots tap those and it will say cc and you can turn them on from there

    • @gardenanswer
      @gardenanswer  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +T Miller You may be able to pick up some screen at your hardware store or even something similar at a craft store! If you already have rocks on the bottom, don't worry too much. I prefer not to use them, but lots of other people do. I would just make sure to be super careful with your watering, and if your pot has a drain hole under the rocks you'll probably be fine! :) It's just when there isn't a drain hole and people use rocks to create 'drainage' when all that does is creates a place for a pond to form (unless your container is see through glass and you can see exactly where the water level is at). All gardening is an experiment, and you just might find a sweet spot with your planter! ~Laura

    Question! Can you put succulents in a darker room?? I rent a room and am dying to get some plants in here, but it's pretty dark, all indirect light if any.... Can artificial light be just as good??

    Hi, my gardener told me that I cannot keep succulents in shade or indirect sunlight. They need full sunlight otherwise they will not survive for more than a month or two. I want to keep them inside my house. What do you suggest?

  • @turtlefrog111_8
    @turtlefrog111_8 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is Beautiful!!!!! I have a quick question. Is it best for succulents to live inside or outside? Or does it not matter? Thank you for this awesome video!
    P.S. sorry that you had to go home and do laundry :(

    • @gardenanswer
      @gardenanswer  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Turtlefrog111 _ It just likes a warm spot, for me right now, that means it has to live inside, but I'll be moving it out probably around the first to middle part of May! They also need to be in a spot that receives 4-6 hours of morning sun, too. :)

    Looks great, but do plants like to be that squished together?

    • @LizzieDeanMakes
      @LizzieDeanMakes 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      GetBennidover she gets this question a lot and has answered it in lots of other videos - she always says - a) they are temporary arrangements and will be repotted after a few months, and b) the closer together you plant succulents the slower they grow so they are usually fine xx
