Instead of the spray adhesive make a mesh sandwich with the respective holes for the plants. Works even better if the front mesh is plastic and the moss is alive. It will cover it soon and look more natural. Cheers..!
You can stick moss in an envelope for 50 years in an herbarium, pull a piece out, add water, and put it under a microscope and watch it come alive. They are way easier to not kill than any house plant. My guess is people who do this preserved dead crap do it because it requires no work and it probably sheds less@@kifahnemer2729
I been fantasizing about a plant wall but my walls won’t be able to take it so this is a great substitute it’ll be lighter and cheaper and add some wow! And plants into my space❤❤❤❤
The King Anthurium looks very impressive in the background…. Please do a segment of how you take care of your aroid plants. The living plant frame art work is wonderful idea!
I've always been told Tallandsias need soaking, but they can't be soaked on these displays. The displays are lovely but my tillandsias seem to need more water to look healthy, misting doesn't do the trick.
I have an important question. Won’t the preserved moss mold since we need to spray water on it for other alive plants in the frame? I’m afraid that it will mold from me watering the other plants and that’s terrible.
Does spraying so closely to the living plants (excess residue) cling to the living plants, possibly harming them? Maybe wrap those loosely with some tinfoil prior to spraying.
Orchids and Tillandsia are epiphytic topical plants, that is to say that they recover the humidity contained in the air from the atmosphere through their aerial roots, so decades isn't a problem as long as the roots never bathe in a total humidity , that is to say that it is necessary to add pine bark around the roots at best because it degrades slowly and it's porous so it pumps and keeps the humidity without excess; never in direct sun with a lot of light at best & One spray per week on the roots only . The moss, two things, the first is that it is a living organism of damp and cool soil that does not like direct sun and can overbear little light; like the ivies in general also; the second is immortal, that is to say that a yellowed foam is always recoverable, in a closed tuperware with 2 mm of water ah bottom and a flood in order beforehand, in a few days, it recovers turn green and even begin to grow again; just like Lichens, from dry it comes back to life with humidity =) So at least two spray weeks in summer and winter only one. P.S : it's up to me
That second one.... What variety of tillandsia is the big one at the bottom? I bought an identical one recently labelled 'indoor plant' 😂 very helpful.
I watched the video till the end. Really enjoyed and learnt such a great art but didn't understand that what did you used on the spray?? That was a glue or what?? Please reply I really want to try.
Do you show how to do staghorn ferns? I bought a staghorn fern and it is still in the pot that I purchased it in and I don't know whether to put it on a piece of wood or just get a different pot for it. Any suggestions that you might have would be greatly appreciated
Jason did a talk for my orchid society, I’d love it if you guys could do a tutorial on your “jungle log” idea. He explained it, but I’m a visual learner
Question: it’s usually not advised to get preserved sheet moss wet. Won’t the dyes cause problems for the live plants? Also, how long have you had these living frames in action? Any updates?
depends if the dyes are water or oil based. if oil, a little bit of water wont do anything. if water on the other hand... will probably take a while but after a year or half a year I´d expect some fading.
No real way to water the orchid or even soak the tillandsia. Plus you have a green and a silver tillandsia which require different care. Spraying glue over the delicate tillandsia might not be the greatest idea either... Prove me wrong but this is set up to fail... although it looks nice.
Looks nice, but I need bigger! I'm framing a 4 x 4' pegboard in an ornate white frame to mount my many air plants. Various DIY holders and stock pegboard hardware will afford me the ability to load and unload my plants (for soaking) often, and with ease.
Patience is gardening, gardening is patience. My motto. great video!

Does live moss survive or die after a while? Especially if inside
@@kifahnemer2729it’s not live moss but the other plants are alive and I can’t believe he just sprayed them:0

What u mean mesh sandwhich?? Respective holes?😊
Great idea but, isn't the adhesive kinda super bad for the plants?
Yeah its a very bad idea haha
Not true :)
Harus menggunakan lem untuk aquascape
Bad idea .. !! Don't do it !
What, super glue? (I just started watching). How do you think we aquascapers get java ferns to stick to a log?
Gorgeous! The moss and plants look good too.
Wouldn't it be better to use live moss or a variety of mosses instead of artificially colourwd dried?
A lot of real moss is sensitive of drying out and dying; but too much watering isn't great for the main plant.
What a beautiful piece of art!! I love it. Thank you for sharing.
To all you people who are commenting on the spray glue, Gorilla glue is even available for aquatic plants. It's safe people. Relax ur nerves.
Love those vetcheii in the background…
Hare Krishna. So amazing creation. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great video! Thank you Sir.
It gives me the necessary information I need to start an orchid terrarium!
Impressive - yet easy. Can't wait to create my framed living plant art - looks awesome, thanks!
You could use chicken wire, I’d think, for the larger holes to tuck plants and moss in.
Great content! Tbh you could probably just live stream the Anthurium veitchii all day and I’d still tune in. What a stunner.
I been fantasizing about a plant wall but my walls won’t be able to take it so this is a great substitute it’ll be lighter and cheaper and add some wow! And plants into my space❤❤❤❤

Su trabajo le quedó muy bonito.Desde Málaga España
Wow....I love it......thank you for sharing. Hi from Puerto Rico
How do you care for them? Sorry for being so practical!!
I've always been told Tallandsias need soaking, but they can't be soaked on these displays. The displays are lovely but my tillandsias seem to need more water to look healthy, misting doesn't do the trick.
I gues you can use hooks to mount and unmount them since there’s a wire net behind.
I have an important question. Won’t the preserved moss mold since we need to spray water on it for other alive plants in the frame? I’m afraid that it will mold from me watering the other plants and that’s terrible.
This is wonderful! Time to make Christmas presents
Thank you so mich for such a nice idea for air plant.
Perfectly gorgeous!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Does spraying so closely to the living plants (excess residue) cling to the living plants, possibly harming them? Maybe wrap those loosely with some tinfoil prior to spraying.
Hello, do you just spray water on them to keep them alive? How long will it last?

Aqui no Brasil temos muitas variedades de tilandsia. Amo todas.
That second one.... What variety of tillandsia is the big one at the bottom? I bought an identical one recently labelled 'indoor plant' 😂 very helpful.
Beautiful, amazing, excellent!!!!! 😊
Instead of using the wire mesh, could I use large plastic needle point mesh?
Like your plant art work 😮
This is very beautiful plant
原来可以这样种,漂亮多了,真聪明!
I watched the video till the end. Really enjoyed and learnt such a great art but didn't understand that what did you used on the spray?? That was a glue or what?? Please reply I really want to try.
Adhesive spray.
Beautiful work ❤

How would you properly water the orchid?
That’s what I would like to know

How do the roots even stay alive in spagnum moss? Won’t moss rot orchid roots?
Can we replace it with coconut fiber or sfaigne rather than foam?
Looks absolutely stunning 🌿🌿
This massive anthurium vietchii in the back ground is everything omg it would be so expensive

How do u water the plant.... Or it dies in a day..
Thank you for teaching how to do this.
The question is, how long will this plant can hold it selves thus roots will grow and moss can multiplied, anyways it's one of the best growing tips
Esse material é para colar? Não prejudica as plantas?
Beautiful 😍 orchids
How do these do over the winter, in a bit snowy environments?
Amazing, good job and so great ideas.
Don't know why I am watching this. Cannot even grow money plants very well, let alone the orchids 😢😢

Simply stunning! ❤
Beautiful! what kind of plant is behind you?
could you use twine instead of wire to secure the orchid?
No real way to water the orchid or even soak the tillandsia. Plus you have a green and a silver tillandsia which require different care.
Spraying glue over the delicate tillandsia might not be the greatest idea either...
Prove me wrong but this is set up to fail... although it looks nice.
How would you water the air plant if you tie them with wires? Everything I’ve read regarding air plants states you need to soak them
Spray
Muy bello así Gracias por compartir
How do you soak the air plants in the water?
Weeeeh ,tertarik aku tak gawe ah anggrekku okeh ,nuwon yo kang
Ahm. Does the moss will turn brown if the plants will be watered Continuesly? Or it will stay green ?
Use preserved moss..it should keep all its color
Hola, al colocar pegamento no tapas los poros de la planta?
Podrías subtitular en español por favor? Solo entendí lo que vi 😢... gracias

Thank you for sharing this video. I love it. I absolutely get idea for this .
So how do you keep the green dye from dripping off the decorative moss when you mist it?
Beautiful ~
Looks nice, but I need bigger! I'm framing a 4 x 4' pegboard in an ornate white frame to mount my many air plants. Various DIY holders and stock pegboard hardware will afford me the ability to load and unload my plants (for soaking) often, and with ease.
Where do you buy the green spagnum?
Loved the idea. How long do these frames survive?
Cuanto tiempo duran vivas asi?
