Nostalgia is my favorite feeling, but also my least favorite. It helps me remember the fun I had. But it also reminds me, that I will never get any of it back.

When I was 13 back in 2011 I had a friend named Chad, he was my first best friend and we met on minecraft. We played for hours and we loved playing together But in 2016 he got sick and I couldn't play with him for a week But then it turned to 2 weeks 3 weeks 4 weeks 5 weeks 1 Month 2 Months 3 Months 4 Months 5 Months And then 2 years Then I got a text by, HIM HE WAS BACK FINALLY YES ITS BEEN SO LONG- It wasn't him, it was his mom and she told me he passed away from leukemia. I've never felt so shocked I couldn't even speak I never cried so hard before I cried all night knowing now I can't see him or play with him or even hear him anymore because he's gone. This was his favorite song and when ever I hear it I start to cry thinking about him RIP Chad blevins 1998- 2016 I'll soon see you in the end Then there we can finally defeat the enderdragon, together

I can't help but think of how much I owe my life, my friends, my physical health, and mental health to this game. I don't play minecraft much anymore, but I used to play religiously, counting up to 1.12 years of total playtime, over the span of around 8-9 years total. My dad got me this game on pocket addition, and I broke that phone forever ago, but then my grandma got me a new one, and I played, and played my heart out. I will miss my grandma when she is gone, and I hope I get the chance to say thank you for everything she has taught me, and that the game has taught me. The minecraft community upheald who I am today, and I am very greatfull for that, I love you grandma, and mojang for all the amazing memories that shall not be forgotten.

the first time i ever heard this i was 9 years old, playing minecraft on my mums laptop while she watched me. she died last month to a very short battle with cancer, im now 19 and i will never forget that memory
Man, I'm sorry for your loss. I hope that you end up feeling better and that your mother had a wonderful rest of her days with you. I hope that you and your family are able to endure the pain that can come with such a loss. When I was 9, I lost one of my closest friends to cancer. People always question me on what I mean, seeing as she was in her sixties or seventies and I was under 10. She took care of me after school and would let me draw and do art with her. She was an artist, my mom still has a few of her paintings. Those few things I am going to cherish so much. I have been fortunate enough to not lose one of my relatives yet, and, being 15 now, I don't think that I will lose any soon since everyone I know is in excellent health. I hope you enjoy the rest of your week and that you can endure any pain that may come.
man i am so, so, SO sorry for you. I know how it feels to have a relative die, my cousin aged 9 died due to disability issues. I have a picture of them in my room to remember the fun i had with them, the hard times, and her getting her first dog and her last dog, when we raised £25,000 for her payment, it is terrible losing close family we were best friends, i cannot imagine how painful it is for her sister to live without her. Its better to cherish the memories you had then think about the present. Hope you remember the good ol’ times when they were there and not when they were not there. My first minecraft memory was when I was 9. I remember talking to someone on minecraft. He was 16. We were playing mineplex together. I clearly remember thinking, "wow, 16. That's pretty old! I remember back in 2011 I could only play the beta version since, as 11 years old boi, I couldn't buy it myself. A few months later a friend of mine sent me a cracked version of the mobile game to my phone, I loved even the PE, for my 12th birthday my parents finally got me the full game. I was so happy and immediately started building, I was so deep into my own world, and even my parents were happy that such a simple game could bring me so much joy. I miss those times, though it still brings me joy to this day. It will remain in my heart forever

I was super active on MC back then too. I have a great life now and I stuck with Minecraft through its worst years. And even though we have more content than ever... I still miss Minecraft, I miss those nights I wouldn't get any sleep and stayed up, pouring hours into my buildings, ideas, and community.
In 2014, my uncle had to stay at our house because he got kicked out by his girlfriend, he brung everything with him, including his ps4, and ps3. I always sat and watched him play his PlayStation, and so one day i walked up and tapped on his shoulder, i asked "ive been seeing this game on TH-cam, it's called Minecraft, can we please play it?" I was 4 at the time, and i will always remember starting up the first tutorial world, and i picked up the controller and messed with it, he showed me how to play it, and i followed, i never held a PlayStation 4 controller, just ps2, so i had no idea how to do anything, he took over short after that, and helped me into my first creative, I will always remember, the first bock i placed was a tnt, because i recognized it from the dantdm and popularmmos videos, and i grabbed a flint and steal, and lit it. I played that game just about every chance i had, and Christmas came, i got my ps4, i remember struggling with my parents over figuring out how to plug it in. That night i refused to go to sleep until i found gold, and that didn't work out, i fell asleep on the floor, little did i know, that day with my uncle started my childhood, 10 years later, i refuse to get a new console, no ps5, ps4 pro, just my ps4, and Minecraft has the biggest impact on the gaming world for me by far, thanks Minecraft, ps4, uncle, dad, and mom. And mostly, the video gaming has impacted my life more than anything, i started skateboarding, and paying attention to life in a different way i ever thought i would. Ive had friends that i never got to say goodbye to, some died of sicknesses, and a couple have unnalived themselves, Tragically. Thanks uncle for helping me get through the toughest times in life. ❤️

I remember I was 3-2 years old and Minecraft was 3-2 years old and I said dad can I get that game and I remember just getting scared at night and I didn’t know how to use a torch me and my dad that you had to light it and I just remember being so confused curios about Minecraft I just remember the first house my dad built for me and when I went on I learned about armor and beds, blocks, bows, and the wither and all me and my dad did was spawn random mobs depending on how cool the egg looked and I remember this one time I wanted to spawn a ghast and I couldn’t read so I just had to look at the egg and I remember spawning a polar bear instead of a ghast I was so confused me and my dad laughed. And this game has kept on giving and surprises me every time I get on
I remember playing Minecraft with my dad when it was around 3-4 years old and i was like......8 or 9. And it was a wintry night, around 11pm, my dad wanted to play with me because he liked the game. And we played 'till 4am xD. My mom yelled at us that it's 4am and we laughed but we were also kinda shocked. What i remember from then was that we were stuck in a cave and I made a ladder and we got out. That's why i now always remember how to craft a ladder. These time were so much better. I also remember how one time my friend came to my place and we placed a single armor stand. 5 years passed and I had built a whole massive city with my friends. We never know, maybe our first block placed is somewhere, and it will be there forever. We never know, maybe our first diamonds are somewhere, in a cave, and they will be there forever. We never know, maybe our first dog is still waiting for us, somewhere in the hardcore world, and he will stay there, forever. But we don't know it.

I know I am very late, especially when this video had came out over two years ago, but I just can't help to listen to this song. It relaxes me and blocks out any other minor sounds that are going around in the background. This sound is very Nostalgic and helps me remember the great times when we were just kids, not worrying about anything, not being hated for our hobbies or identites, or gender. I really do wish, I could just go back to those times where we didn't have to care about anything, except having fun with our friends and families. We weren't insecure and depressed. I wish our newer generation could get to experience these amazing times and opportunities. to all the internet strangers out there, i type this message to you through tears as i try to remember those smaller parts of my childhood, like sneaking an extra cookie in summer when mom wasnt looking, or dunking your dad in the pool. it breaks my heart that i will never play minecraft for the first time ever again. it was my entire childhood, literally, and i assume it ws the same for many of you as well. i know its hard growing up, and i know its even harder trying to do it through a pandemic, but i believe in you! you can do this! with the power of all of your old minecraft pets, still waiting for you to come home, all i can say is dont give up. remember coming home after spending your day at school, carefree and young, loading up minecraft again and continuing in your beautiful world? when i logged off that day, i didn't know it would be the last time i ever closed minecraft. i didn't know that was the end. but hey, all good things come to an end at one point. not even life can go on forever. something or someone is going to fuck it up, and make it end. and in the moment, you might be sad about that. its understandable. you thought you had forever with it, but you didn't. because, like i said earlier, all good things must come to an end. sadly, thats the way life is. i hope reading this calmed you slightly, and if it didn't, apologies to you. please feel free to do whatever you want in replies, rant if you want, i'm happy to listen. play minecraft again! if you remember, what were the names of your minecraft dogs? mine were rose and softie! now it is time for me to take my own advice. goodbye, random stranger. i hope we can meet again sometime soon. may your life be eternally pleasant.
I remember going to my friends house and playing minecraft on her xbox 360, it was so simple back then. We had to share the controller. And after years of begging my mom we got a PlayStation with our first game being minecraft. I spent hours on it. That was back when i didnt need a label, back when i didnt know the problems of the world. I still think of those times but it will never be the same. Mine craft was my childhood. I've played it since 2012 and ha e loved it since.ive made so many friends. Memories.and fun times. Every time I hear this soundtrack I cry because I can't have to same nostalgic feel of finding diamonds and being the richest. Or building a house and placing that furnace right next to the bed and crafting table. I've logged off for the final time once I had a feel around 1.17 snapshot. I'm sure we can all agree 2000 kids will have these soundtracks memories and the game embedded into their mind. No matter what

I remember when my older sister was going through numerous addictions and my dad was incredibly high-strung during it, and would blow up at the slightest thing. When I would come home from school, I would play Mario Kart on my older brother's brand-new WII, and then go to my friend's house to play Minecraft. I would stay there for hours, often eating at their house, and his parents not caring because they knew what was happening. When my friend was away visiting his grandma or on a trip, I would stay up in my room sketching designs for cool houses and redstone contraptions, while my mom and dad fought over what should happen to my sister. When she got out of rehab, my dad was still incredibly high-strung and treated her like garbage, and I did the exact same thing. I would stay in my room, drawing new bases and mobs I had come up with myself. I still have that notebook to this day, and hearing this music brought back those bittersweet memories of playing Minecraft on the Xbox 360 at 7:00 with my friend, eating Chips Ahoy, and not having a care in the world. Thank you.

I can't help but think of how much I owe my life, my friends, my physical health, and mental health to this game. I don't play minecraft much anymore, but I used to play religiously, counting up to 1.12 years of total playtime, over the span of around 8-9 years total. My dad got me this game on pocket addition, and I broke that phone forever ago, but then my grandma got me a new one, and I played, and played my heart out. I will miss my grandma when she is gone, and I hope I get the chance to say thank you for everything she has taught me, and that the game has taught me. The minecraft community upheald who I am today, and I am very greatfull for that, I love you grandma, and mojang for all the amazing memories that shall not be forgotten.

she died last month to a very short battle with cancer, im now 19 and i will never forget that memory

Man, I'm sorry for your loss. I hope that you end up feeling better and that your mother had a wonderful rest of her days with you. I hope that you and your family are able to endure the pain that can come with such a loss. When I was 9, I lost one of my closest friends to cancer. People always question me on what I mean, seeing as she was in her sixties or seventies and I was under 10. She took care of me after school and would let me draw and do art with her. She was an artist, my mom still has a few of her paintings. Those few things I am going to cherish so much. I have been fortunate enough to not lose one of my relatives yet, and, being 15 now, I don't think that I will lose any soon since everyone I know is in excellent health.

man i am so, so, SO sorry for you. I know how it feels to have a relative die, my cousin aged 9 died due to disability issues. I have a picture of them in my room to remember the fun i had with them, the hard times, and her getting her first dog and her last dog, when we raised £25,000 for her payment, it is terrible losing close family we were best friends, i cannot imagine how painful it is for her sister to live without her. Its better to cherish the memories you had then think about the present. Hope you remember the good ol’ times when they were there and not when they were not there. suddenly clicked into this, it burned down every mood i have at present and started to think about good old days with these homie.
Its not about how good was the gameplay, its about memory, the time we spent together everynight talking about life, about how good our childhood was. In game i just keep staying at base farming, building while my friends bringing their full resources for me with full inventory (70% of building at base built by me ) or maybe they are going adventure somewhere. How nostalgic time!

My first minecraft memory was when I was 9. I remember talking to someone on minecraft. He was 16. We were playing mineplex together. I clearly remember thinking, "wow, 16. That's pretty old! I cant wait to be 16!"... now I'm 14 and I'm closer to 16 than I am 9, and nostalgia hits so hard. I often stop and wonder how my old friend is doing. I remember back in 2011 I could only play the beta version since, as 11 years old boi, I couldn't buy it myself. A few months later a friend of mine sent me a cracked version of the mobile game to my phone, I loved even the PE, for my 12th birthday my parents finally got me the full game. I was so happy and immediately started building, I was so deep into my own world, and even my parents were happy that such a simple game could bring me so much joy. I miss those times, though it still brings me joy to this day. It will remain in my heart forever

I was super active on MC back then too. I have a great life now and I stuck with Minecraft through its worst years. And even though we have more content than ever... I still miss Minecraft, I miss those nights I wouldn't get any sleep and stayed up, pouring hours into my buildings, ideas, and community.

In 2014, my uncle had to stay at our house because he got kicked out by his girlfriend, he brung everything with him, including his ps4, and ps3. I always sat and watched him play his PlayStation, and so one day i walked up and tapped on his shoulder, i asked "ive been seeing this game on TH-cam, it's called Minecraft, can we please play it?" I was 4 at the time, and i will always remember starting up the first tutorial world, and i picked up the controller and messed with it, he showed me how to play it, and i followed, i never held a PlayStation 4 controller, just ps2, so i had no idea how to do anything, he took over short after that, and helped me into my first creative, I will always remember, the first bock i placed was a tnt, because i recognized it from the dantdm and popularmmos videos, and i grabbed a flint and steal, and lit it. I played that game just about every chance i had, and Christmas came, i got my ps4, i remember struggling with my parents over figuring out how to plug it in. That night i refused to go to sleep until i found gold, and that didn't work out, i fell asleep on the floor, little did i know, that day with my uncle started my childhood, 10 years later, i refuse to get a new console, no ps5, ps4 pro, just my ps4, and Minecraft has the biggest impact on the gaming world for me by far, thanks Minecraft, ps4, uncle, dad, and mom. And mostly, the video gaming has impacted my life more than anything, i started skateboarding, and paying attention to life in a different way i ever thought i would. Ive had friends that i never got to say goodbye to, some died of sicknesses, and a couple have unnalived themselves, Tragically. Thanks uncle for helping me get through the toughest times in life. ❤️

I remember 2013, 6 year old me and my dad trying to figure out how to play this wonderful game. Those memories bring me so much joy.
I remember I was 3-2 years old and Minecraft was 3-2 years old and I said dad can I get that game and I remember just getting scared at night and I didn’t know how to use a torch me and my dad that you had to light it and I just remember being so confused curios about Minecraft I just remember the first house my dad built for me and when I went on I learned about armor and beds, blocks, bows, and the wither and all me and my dad did was spawn random mobs depending on how cool the egg looked and I remember this one time I wanted to spawn a ghast and I couldn’t read so I just had to look at the egg and I remember spawning a polar bear instead of a ghast I was so confused me and my dad laughed. And this game has kept on giving and surprises me every time I get on
I remember playing Minecraft with my dad when it was around 3-4 years old and i was like......8 or 9.
And it was a wintry night, around 11pm, my dad wanted to play with me because he liked the game.
And we played 'till 4am xD.
My mom yelled at us that it's 4am and we laughed but we were also kinda shocked.
What i remember from then was that we were stuck in a cave and I made a ladder and we got out.
That's why i now always remember how to craft a ladder.
These time were so much better.

I know I am very late, especially when this video had came out over two years ago, but I just can't help to listen to this song. It relaxes me and blocks out any other minor sounds that are going around in the background. This sound is very Nostalgic and helps me remember the great times when we were just kids, not worrying about anything, not being hated for our hobbies or identites, or gender. to all the internet strangers out there, i type this message to you through tears as i try to remember those smaller parts of my childhood, like sneaking an extra cookie in summer when mom wasnt looking, or dunking your dad in the pool. it breaks my heart that i will never play minecraft for the first time ever again. it was my entire childhood, literally, and i assume it ws the same for many of you as well. i know its hard growing up, and i know its even harder trying to do it through a pandemic, but i believe in you! you can do this! with the power of all of your old minecraft pets, still waiting for you to come home, all i can say is dont give up. remember coming home after spending your day at school, carefree and young, loading up minecraft again and continuing in your beautiful world? when i logged off that day, i didn't know it would be the last time i ever closed minecraft. i didn't know that was the end. but hey, all good things come to an end at one point. not even life can go on forever. something or someone is going to fuck it up, and make it end. and in the moment, you might be sad about that. its understandable. you thought you had forever with it, but you didn't. because, like i said earlier, all good things must come to an end. sadly, thats the way life is. i hope reading this calmed you slightly, and if it didn't, apologies to you. please feel free to do whatever you want in replies, rant if you want, i'm happy to listen. play minecraft again! if you remember, what were the names of your minecraft dogs? mine were rose and softie!

I remember going to my friends house and playing minecraft on her xbox 360, it was so simple back then. We had to share the controller. And after years of begging my mom we got a PlayStation with our first game being minecraft. I spent hours on it. That was back when i didnt need a label, back when i didnt know the problems of the world. I still think of those times but it will never be the same. All my friends are different now, i miss those days, so so so much…

Rather, it reminds me of the good and awesome times (even tho they were awful and depressing to say the least) I had, and makes me happy wondering what will the future hold in store for all of us? Mine craft was my childhood. I've played it since 2012 and ha e loved it since.ive made so many friends. Memories.and fun times. Every time I hear this soundtrack I cry because I can't have to same nostalgic feel of finding diamonds and being the richest. Or building a house and placing that furnace right next to the bed and crafting table. I've logged off for the final time once I had a feel around 1.17 snapshot. I'm sure we can all agree 2000 kids will have these soundtracks memories and the game embedded into their mind. No matter what
ive played since 2009 and i still havnt beaten the ender dragon or even found diamonds

I remember when my older sister was going through numerous addictions and my dad was incredibly high-strung during it, and would blow up at the slightest thing. When I would come home from school, I would play Mario Kart on my older brother's brand-new WII, and then go to my friend's house to play Minecraft. I would stay there for hours, often eating at their house, and his parents not caring because they knew what was happening. When my friend was away visiting his grandma or on a trip, I would stay up in my room sketching designs for cool houses and redstone contraptions, while my mom and dad fought over what should happen to my sister. When she got out of rehab, my dad was still incredibly high-strung and treated her like garbage, and I did the exact same thing. I would stay in my room, drawing new bases and mobs I had come up with myself. I still have that notebook to this day, and hearing this music brought back those bittersweet memories of playing Minecraft on the Xbox 360 at 7:00 with my friend, eating Chips Ahoy, and not having a care in the world. Imagine growing up with Minecraft and the one day Minecraft is no longer a thing but you’re laying there in your death bed reminiscing the past then you remember Minecraft and all the fun you had with your friends and the adventures you made because of Minecraft you slowly let out a tear and then everything ends
