- Gibson has just released another Slash Signature model - Jessica. To be honest this is a welcome addition to the collection, a brilliantly simple and classic Les Paul that rocks!
Slash used Jessica for much of his live career in Guns 'n' Roses and for that reason alone it's a seriously cool signature model!

@8:34 Could never understand why people are against signature guitars.
It doesn't matter if I like the artist or not, I like the fact that's its been tested, played put through its paces by the artist on the road for 300 days of the year in some cases.
I'm sure that signature model will play better than a new model that was brainstormed in a board room and has never or will never be played on stage (robo tuner anyone).
I don't think it's a problem with the guitars themselves, I agree most signature models do tend to be pretty good. I think it's just having someone else name on it if you aren't a massive fan of them. In this case it a belter of a guitar :)
To clear things up: The USA versions of the Anaconda and Vermillion are based on Slash's personal Custom Shop guitars. The USA Goldtop is based on the stolen '57 Darkback Goldtop used with GNR in the 80's/90's. And the USA November Burst have no similar, but is inspired on the Joe Perry's '59 used in the November Rain video (owned by Slash in those days).

Yeah of course he does now the signature models have been produced. I think the point was there is no original Gibson in an Anaconda burst for example, it's a Slash Signature special, where this is based on an actual original guitar, a wicked 88 Les Paul. And Gibson has nailed it, great guitar 🤘

This thing is that , Slash’s original les Paul’s were Copies made by a Builder from california 😂 Gibson is Riding Slash’s back for as much as they can, he obviously moves guitars.
Na ill stay with my 2021 high end Epiphones with the proper Kalamazoo epiphone headstocks..you can keep your Gibsons..
genius move by Gibson to get rid of undersized pieces of maple and attempt to normalize 3-piece tops.
It is way too light. Jessica is more red. Typical Gibson making their move just to give the real vibe in a crazy Custom Shop release of $12,000.
This is based on the current state of Jessica without the scratches and stuff
